So....We decided that today would be a family out day. We all got up and got dressed because we had some errands to run 'in town.' We live about 30 minutes from the "big city" so we went in to go to the mall. We had a good day and I got a great pair of flip flops! ANYWAY....Shopping usually dosn't do me well because things just don't fit right....so I was kinda depressed when we left the mall and DH suggested that we take the kids to McDonald's for lunch so that they can play in the super play place. (It's bigger than normal ones.)
Well...I had already decided that I was pissed off and I was going to have a Quarter Pounder with cheese and a whole bunch of french fries and top it all off with a vanilla milkshake.
So we get to Mickey Dee's and get out of the car and parked RIGHT next to us was this HORRIBLE purple station wagon. It was probably the UGLIEST thing that I've ever seen. So DD says..."Look at that" (In that REALLY loud 3 year old voice) and as I turned around to tell her to calm down I saw the bumper sticker on the back of that ugly station wagon.....
"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"
ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDIN' ME........
So...I went into McDonald's and had a grilled chicken salad and some water...
So...that was the MOST interesting experience that I've EVER had!!! :)

Sometimes God is really on your side....
I laugh about the times I went clothes shopping and nothing fit and I thought the solution was to have a hot fudge sundae...like I just didn't get cause and effect!
Good for you and I bet you were just as satisfied with a healthy dinner!

I love it, Kim! You might not have even noticed the bumper sticker if the car hadn't been so hideously ugly! And good for you for heeding the sentiment. I think the Universe really does watch out for us; we just have to tune in to the signs!
