My sister in law got married this past August, but didn't have enough money for a ceremony, so they're having one on thier first anniversay.

Hey Dayle,
My SIL is getting married in October. I'm not in the wedding party, but I'm dying to look better by then! Maybe we can be on wedding watch together! Annie

I hope you enjoy the wedding, don't know what to tell you about the dress other than maybe express your concerns to her.

I can relate to ur concerns. My sister is to be married this oct. we have went to the bridal shop several times with all the bridesmaids in attendance and my sister chose this strapless # that was also heart shaped at the top and was a bright red. A beautiful dress really for all of her size 8 friends but not so beautiful for my size 26 frame as of right now. So I suggested to Jamie( my sis) that we go alone to the bridal shop and I would try on the dress for her and her only but she must bring her camera along. So I tried on the dress and had her take a picture of me in it with and without the shaw. Then I told her to look at the picture i told her I felt uncomfortable in the dress and gave her my top 10 reasons why. I then told her to tell me how she felt about me in the dress in the picture. She said uncomfortable. I said now that we understand each other I think we should discuss our options. She for the first time understood how I felt. We are now waiting to see what size I will be in June to order a dress of same color but different style!!!! I also made her erase the evidence of me in that dress!!!

Good Luck!!!

That is another option I thought of.....for my wedding I wanted my bridesmaids to wear a dress that matched but was different from my matron of honor. That is definitely an idea to throw at her. You being the Matron of honor it would be okay for you to be in a slightly different dress.

For my sister's wedding she decided that she wanted us to all be in the same colour, but we chould choose whatever style we wanted.
