My February Goals...

1. Drink more water (I am doing ok but could be better)
2. Make exercise a priority (right now I do not have an exercise program)
3. Eat more veggies/fruit (I am still finding my way with food)
My first month I lost about 12 lbs and completely gave up soda. So now I am just trying to add to that.

Twelve pounds is great! Do you have any thoughts on what type of exercise you might like? A lot of people start with walking - all you need is good supportive shoes and a safe area. An IPOD/Walkman(does anyone still use walkmen?) can make the time go faster, or a walking buddy can both motivate and help pass the time. You can start slow (5-10-20 minutes) and build up. You can try to walk a little further each day, and/or a little faster each day.
I like working with weights too, and if that appeals to you, I'd be happy to share some routnes.
I think the key to this journey is to keep making small changes until ...well I guess forever because I've been at this for almost four years and I'm still on the journey!

Thank you everone, I love the support I get from this board. My family is great but DH thinks I am sexy just the way I am! I wonder why I waited this long, but last year was a very hard year to get through. I find being a month in it is becoming easier and a way of life!
