This is going to be a better month!

The past week have been hard and I need support. I haven't been exercising, not drinking much water and not eating right. I just feel like I keep slipping away from my plan. I have to re-focus and organize my thoughts and figure out some goals for the month of February. So, here they are:

1. Drink More Water atleast 8 12 oz glasses

2. Do my Leslie Sansone Walk Away the pounds video everyday

3. Look into joining a gym but definately look at rates of membership

4. If I do join a gym try going out there atleast 3 days a week

5. Bundle up and walk more places instead of staying couped up in the apartment

6. Watch what I eat --- limit myself to one hershey kiss a day for my chocolate fix, no more potatoe chips, no more bolgna and cheese sandwhiches, more water to feel full between meals, more fruit, more portion control and that's all I can think of now.

7. To feel better about myself by what I'm doing and rewarding myself appropiately.

I KNOW I will be able to do this thanks to my supportive husband and the help of this board. Thanks for reading, it just helps to see it, even on a message board.

I really like your #7 to feel better about yourself! It is so important.
I do not know where you live, but is there a Planet Fitness near you? I just checked your profile, Ohio.
Here in Charlotte, my dh and I joined it. $10 a month, no contract just $59 start up fee. They are open 24 hours Mon 6am to Fri 9pm, then 9-6 on Sat and 12-6 on Sunday. I just looked at the site, seems they have on in Columbus, are you near there? Just a thought.

Hey (((Susan))),

You know how I got out of my latest funk? I just started making myself do the stuff I hadn't been doing and repeating adages like: Fake it 'til you make it and If you build it it will ocme. Kind of like when DH is in the mood and you aren't? Sometimes if you just go along you're surprised how in the mood you end up? For me I just started making myself exercise again and, duh, I started feeling better about everything!

We can both do this! Let's keep our focus and not give up on everything for one slip up!

Hi Karen,
I sooo wish I lived near Columbus because that sounds like a great place to go! I know I'm going to definately look into different memberships. Thanks for the motivation. Good luck to you and your husband. And have fun at Planet Fitness, I'm envious. -Susan

Thanks so much Annie for the motivation. You are right when you say when you go along you end up being in the mood and to me it feels good to do the right thing. And I know I can do this with the help of DH and all of you on this message board. Good Luck to you and I want to thank you again when I first posted here you told me about Leslie Sansone and Walk Away the Pounds and now I have Walk Away the Pounds the 1 Mile Walk and I love it! It sure does get me motivated when I'm down in the dumps. I couldn't thank you more! We can do it! Just stick to it! -Susan

Glad you like the WATPs workouts. That Leslie has something special that appeals to me where most other exercise mavens turn me off. No thanks necessary. If we both stay around I'm sure you'll do the same for me many times to come! Annie
