Recommitting myself...

Hello, beautiful ladies! Anyone miss me? LOL. I'm sorry I haven't been pulling my weight around here lately. While I was on Winter Break I was here all the time, but since I've gone back to work, that really wipes me out (I'm teaching Kindergarten, and I'm old, so you can probably understand!). I've also been worried about money troubles and health problems of dh...and you begin to get the picture.
I have been doing relatively well on my eating, though this week has not been good. I've nibbled at the boxed chocolates that seem to hang around, gotten munchies out of the machine and we've had fast food a couple of nights this week because I've been too tired to grocery shop this weekend.
But I'm determined to make Monday a new beginning. I'm going to make sure I get all the water in I'm supposed to, and eat the small portions I'm supposed to and make sure I go to bed on time! This has been really hard for me; I'm a natural nightowl, so any chance I have to stay up late is too enticing. I slept a lot this weekend because of being tired and knees hurting, and now I'm not sleepy at bedtime again. Ugh. Well, I'm going to make that one of my important goals for this week: get enough sleep every night, including weekends!
So...I wanted to say hello, to welcome all the newbies that have come along lately, and to say congratulations to our lovely CL, Mary! I hope you have a healthy and easy pregnancy!
Thanks for listening. Here's to a new week, let's all hang in there!

Hi Mary,
I came back as well and recommitting myself. We both can do this with the support from all these lovely ladies.

I was wondering where you went! I am so glad to see you're back.
So you're re-comitting again on Monday.. hey that's today! I hope you're already on track. Did you go grocery shopping yet?
5 yr olds wipe you out?? You got to be kidding me?? I mean I thought they filled you full of energy?? LMAO
Mary, I feel your pain and I only have 1 and she is 6 now...LOL They don't get better trust me!! Could be a room full of teens?? Or worse preteens
Angela
LOL, yes, I finally did grocery shopping today! It was a very good day! I got through teaching pretty painlessly, then did my grocery shopping, then made a fabulous dinner of roast chicken (roasted by the store!), white bean dip and pita bread and sauteed green beans and garlic. And chocolate pudding for dessert! Now have horrific garlic breath though...time to brush teeth!
It's good to be back!

Angela, I thank my stars every day that I'm not teaching pre-teens or high school! Kindergarteners are the right age for me and I'm lucky our kindergarten is only half day. We still work all day, but it's more peaceful after the kids go home!
Imagine having 22 six-year-olds though...whew! Good thing I love it!

Hi, Annie! Even though I have 22 kids, I'm lucky; I get to send them home at the end of the school day! And I go home to a peaceful house with a hubby and cats. Ahhhhh...
Yes, had a great day, thanks! It's good to be back.

We can do it, Rochelle! Keep hanging in there.

All I can say is that if all 22 are just like DD6 then you are superwoman. LOL
Ironically though she isn't the same way at school unless I am there. Go figure. The teachers have told me she is actually a little calmer at school. BUT that mouth sure does get her in trouble. She doesn't know when to stop talking. LOL
Bless your heart. BUt yes 22 13 yr olds I would probably be in a padded cell. LOL & my 13 yr old is a pretty good kid for the most part, some of her friends though.........geez!!
