Hi everyone!! I haven't had alot of time to be around here. I am still doing well on my weight loss, I am down 42lbs. Things have deffinatly slowed down but are still moving in the right direction. My eating hasn't always been the best but its working to keep me losing around 1.5lbs a week.
My 8 year old daughter was diagnosed two weeks ago with Asthma and some severe allergies. As we are adapting to that and all the medicines and environmental changes for her, she gets sick. SHe has been sick since Sunday morning, including a major asthma attack. One of her meds lowers her immune system as a side effect, so this virus is just not going away for her. Had her into the dr. yesterday and she is swollen in the face from all the backup in her sinuses, and she has lesions in her throat. Her head hurts really bad all the time and she is running a temp. I feel so badly for her and just want her to be healthy again. So it has been rough going for us here. But the good thing is I am not turning to food, I am actually learning to make a game out of testing my will power, and loving the fact that I am a strong woman!!

My kiddos are 10, 8 and 5 1/2. Kailey is going back to school tomorrow, but Gavin will be home again and Dahliya came home from school with a fever, so she will be home. I am hoping to send Gavin back Friday and Dahliya back Monday. My wonderful dh saw how hard it has been and rushed paper work through for 2 days of vacation time, so he is staying home Thurs and Friday to give me a break. Gavin thought he was going to have a nice easy day today but he is not a good student so I picked up his school work when I dropped the little one off at school this morning and he spent most the day working on reading and math. They are all medicated and off to sleep for the night!! I am hoping for a peacful one!!
So how is having a teenager? I am already not liking the tween thing. Gavin has gotten really moody and mouthy in the past year. I can't imagine what it will be like to have all three of them in the teen years at the same time.
It isn't the grandest.........LOL. If i could just get her to do her chores without having to be nagged or fussed at first it woudln't be so bad at this point in time. But all she wants to do is talk on the

I am not sure what is up with my oldest. He has the same teacher this year as last year and even she noticed the difference in him this year. I keep telling him if he doesn't watch he may not make it to his teenage years! LOL!
So, Kailey went back to school Thursday, thought sure Gavin would go back today but he is back to running 102+ temps. Dahliya's tonsils are so swollen she can hardley talk. So back to dr. we went and they decided to just do a strep test on Dahliya and will treat them both if its positive. Waiting for the call on that. Neither of them ate after lunch time yesterday until 3:30 today, except for a popcicle. I really think what they have is different then Kailey, she had so much congestion and sinus issues and they don't at all. I guess we shall see.
