What are some of you using to track your food intake? Considering that people listed in the National Weight Registry have found keeping a food diary helpful in losing and maintaining their weight loss, it must be beneficial to do.

That's really an interesting and very visual approach. (Reminds me a little of how the WW points system is calculated.) Would you mind reporting back to us on how it's working for you after you get underway? Thanks for sharing! Annie

Sure will. They say it takes about 2-3 days to get. I'll write back next week after I've tried it.

Very interesting site.. please give us feedback after trying it.

Right now I just use plain old paper & pencil to record what I eat. I've been counting calories for a long time and I can pretty much estimate the calories in everything I eat. I do occasionaly cross check with fitday and it's usually the same results.

I should be receiving "Drawing the Line on Calories, Carbs, and Fat" any day now. I like the idea of how it creates a picture of what you eat. I couldn't believe what picture was created when that guy ate at McDonald's. Did you see that on the www.advantagediets.com website? I know how easy it is to lose track of how much I'm eating. Something like "Drawing the Line" should keep me focused and be kind of fun to do at the same time. I also like the idea that the system does all the math for you. No adding or subtracting to do to know how much is left for my calorie allowance. The fact that I can try a low-carb diet like South Beach Diet, a low-fat diet or one that is more balanced such as suggested by the USDA Food Guide Pyramid, gives me options.

I'll keep you posted.
