URGG!

I pulled a muscle in my lower back/hip on Saturday morning and it still isn't better. I want to exercise, but I don't want to make it worse. I keep going back and forth between doing it anyway and being scared of hurting myself more. I have been eating horribly and I feel guilty not exercising because of how I've been eating and because it's part of my goal for the month. I really wish I could think of something to do for exercise that wouldn't hurt.

Oh well I will stop complaining, I hope it gets better soon!!

(((Sarah))), That SO sucks! Back and neck pains are the worst to deal with. You're never comfortable, can't sleep, and it hurts just as much to not move as to move! Have you tried just walking? Maybe some movement would be helpful? Good luck! Hope you're feeling better soon! Annie

You know how you feel, but I'll tell you that the advice the guys at my gym always, always give is '800 miligrams of ibuprofen twice a day , put ice on it twice a day, and keep working out - you'll feel better!'

I've worked through bursitis in my foot, a sprained ankle, and a lot of aches and pains...

It really does help to get the blood moving through the injured area...if you can work muscles that are not directly injured, it might be worth it. But I'll also say that the food part is the big bang part, so if you can't work out at all, then you can control the damage by extra care with food...

Best wishes whichever you decide...and remember, this too shall pass. Keep your eyse on the prize!

Actually chocolate seems to be a great answer, of course I'm pmsing and want chocolate anyway.

I did exercise yesterday morning and as long as I do it in the morning it's not really painful-my muscle is more relaxed I guess

And today I'm going to go clean out my car, its driving me nuts and it finally not snowing here on the weekend.
