I have done so well with my water intake and now for the last 2 days I am struggling. This morning I was so tired I didnt' want to get up as I didn't go to bed til late and then didnt' sleep the best. So what did I do I had 2 cokes. I have just started on my water and did the caffine help wake me at all?? NO of course not. So now I am exhausted, thirsty and behind. Part of the morning is just because I forgot to drink it. I was so busy I couldnt' think about water. LOL So now I need to drink 51 oz of water in 4.5 hrs. Can I do it?? Let's hope I can. As I didnt' get it all in yesterday and I REALLY do not need to go offtrack 2 days in a row or that will start the downhill slide.
So here I am struggling to stay on the train..........Anyone want to lend a hand to hold on to??

Is it practical to carry/hold onto a bottle of water while doing whatever tonight? I find if I have it handy, I don't think about and next thing I know its empty.

You can do it! try a straw if you don't already. sometimes that helps me. And If you can't get it all in. Don't beat yourself up! tomorrow is a new day.

LOL Thanks guys...didnt' make my 51 but I got in 32 oz. I would have made my 51 had I had some water in the fridge here at home. LOL Got to put it in there for the weekend now though. Tonight, my plans were to work on the house but I am afraid it may be too cold for the oringinal plan so probably wait til tommorrow to do that. We went and picked out the landscaping stuff and my bro is on his way up to help us finish up. I feel better, I just can't believe I got so busy I kept forgetting to get somethign to drink. I was thirsty but I would say to myself I will get a bottle as soon as I finish this and then I woudl forget. Go figure. We had our Bday party at work today too so I had sweets...LOL HEY my bday was being celebrated so I had to have a cupcake. LOL
Other than that I didnt' eat much at all. A sandwich and some baked tostitos. That is it so proud of me there considering the options. I really appreciated those helping hands!!! Tommorrow is a new day and I will just have to drink extra a few days to make up for the days I was a bottle short. I will meet my Feb goal!!!

Angela--Keep at it, you can do it. I am not sure what I am going to do tonight, I am almost out of water, we carry our drinking water, I may have to send dh to get some.
I have heard that if you are dragging in the mornings you will get a better pick-me-up if you eat an apple than if you drink caffeine. I always drink my morning coffee, so I haven't actually tried it, but its a thought.

Good job on recognizing that you are 'off track' so quickly!
How about this for a weekend plan - pack a box - have some water- pack a box - run to bathroom - pack a box ----you get the idea...

I am feeling really guilty reading your post. I've been doing the same thing now, with my empty water bottle on my desk and procrastinating going up to the water cooler to refill it. The weird thing is that I'm really thirsty, but I keep telling myself: I'll read one more post.. I'll send one more email.. then it's 3 pm and I only drank 2 cups of water instead of my usual 6-9.
I think I'll go refill now
