Let's all give ourselves a little assessment on last week,


1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy?


2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted?


3. Did you drink enough water?


4. Did you get enough sleep?


5. Did you do something special just for you?

1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy? I did ok but could of done better.

2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted? Yes I did, that one of the best things about not having a car:)

3. Did you drink enough water? Sort of

4. Did you get enough sleep? Yep heaps

5. Did you do something special just for you? Nope!

1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy? I didn't do very well with the food department. I did redeam myself the last couple of days, but mostly I did bad.


2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted? No exercise at all (long story)


3. Did you drink enough water? Yep I'm doing good with the water


4. Did you get enough sleep? No, but it wasn't my choice. ds kept waking up at 5 a.m. Today he woke up at 7, so I hope it's a return to our normal time again


5. Did you do something special just for you? not that I could think of (that's very pathetic, nothing special in a whole week?)

Mostly healthy!!

2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted?
No :( Wanted to walk more than I did. However, I did shovel the snow off the neighbourhood skating rink (much more work than I thought it was!) and played road hockey with my son. (I lost, 16-7)

3. Did you drink enough water?
Yes, haven't peed colour in weeks! ;)

4. Did you get enough sleep?
Yes

5. Did you do something special just for you?
Not really.

1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy? I was on plan until Thursday, and I planned to be off plan Thursday til Saturday, but Sunday was an eat eat eat day for no good reason - today has to be better!

2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted? Not as much because it was awful weather wise so no extra walking and I planned less than usual - but I walked to/from work and the gym in the cold/sleet/snow/hail - and I fit in unplanned exercise on Friday...so I'm even on this one. But I am getting tired of exercising so I need to be careful and dig deep for motivation.

3. Did you drink enough water?- Yes

4. Did you get enough sleep?-Had a few tough nights but I slept really late today so I feel caught up

5. Did you do something special just for you-I had two special family days this week (thus the eating/exercise off plan) So what I did was really special to me, but not just for me.

So life wise, good week, even if not the best food/exercise week - sometimes, 'real' life just has to matter more!

1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy? Mostly healthy even with eating out twice over the weekend. I picked entree with simple roasted meats, a simple carbohydrate and some fresh steamed vegetables. I was really proud of myself ... it was a very hectic week and I stayed on plan for the most part.

2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted? I got in my minimum ... even if it was on different days ... and I'm still catching up a little as my Sunday workout got moved to Tuesday, but my bag is in the car!

3. Did you drink enough water? Yes! A little lower than usual, but still within range of what I need.

4. Did you get enough sleep? Yes! This is actually more important to me than the exercise. I really get very out of control on the eating if I'm tired.

5. Did you do something special just for you? No, I didn't. This is one area that I need to address. Just taking the time to exercise is huge for me, but I also need to reach out and do more things just for me. I think I will start a book or something.

1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy? I ate really healthy, very low fat, lots of veggies, chicken, fruit, and alot of sugar free jello for dessert...

2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted? nope, didn't exercize at all, didn't have the energy.

3. Did you drink enough water? definately!

4. Did you get enough sleep? got more than usual.. i usually get 5-6 hrs per night and since i've been "sick" i've been getting anywhere from 8-12 hrs per night. (DH has been wonderful about letting me go to bed early and doing "daddy duty" as he calls it)

5. Did you do something special just for you? yep.. I got my hair cut. 1st time in about 2 years.. DD and I had a "girls day" and we each got a haircut and style.

1. Did you mostly eat healthy meals and snacks, or mostly eat unhealthy? Mostly healthy, but there was that incident with some brownies! and a few unplanned meals that were not as health friendly. (mac n cheese, and enchiladas) But having added large salads to the table every night helps to balance it out.

2. Did you get in as much exercise as you wanted? NO! I was bad last week and full of excuses. They were legitimate ones, but I know I could have made a better effort.

3. Did you drink enough water? I did ok, but deffinatly had a few days that were a little dry in that department.

4. Did you get enough sleep? NO! I work part time (relief work, right now) at a local care facility and ended up with three midnight shifts this last week. (10:30pm-7am) and with a little one and the big ones off from school two extra days, I am pretty sure I lost at least 2 days worth of sleep somewhere.

5. Did you do something special just for you? well, not just for me, but I enjoyed it. I took my mother in law to a neighboring town to help her shop for a new computer. we hit the resale shops and had lunch. It was a nice day.
