Good Morning all!!!
I would love to be a part of your board, but first let me explain some background with me.
I've always been overweight for my age bracket since I can remember. Almost five years ago I had a beautiful daughter and was at 260 pounds. I went through an extreme depression and was down to 180 pounds. It would have been impossible to stay that way healthy so naturally when I got out of my depression I slowly but surely gained all my weight and then some back. I reached 310 pounds and knew I had to do something so I started dieting, which helped a lot. I'm now down to 295 but have been 295 for over 7 days. I don't know what I doing wrong at this point. I was rapidly losing and now I can't lose a pound. I'm exercising more than ever now and eating what I'm supposed to. I thought it could be a medical problem, but my Dr. confirmed that everything was normal???
I was at another board, but could never get a response.(the board was really slow) I'm really hoping that you all can help me because I'm at my wits end here. I still feel healthy which keeps me going but I have too much to lose for my weight loss to just stop. I know it takes time but I've completely changed everything and I would think as much weight as I need to lose, it would at least come off more steadily. Even a couple of pounds would be nice. HELP PLEASE!!!
What should I do?
Starting Weight-310
Current Weight-295
Goal Weight-165

I wouldn't even say you need to eat more veggies or anything, just maybe watch what you are eating.
HI and Welcome.. I know how frustrating it is to hit a certain weight and stay there for months & months.. DO NOT give up.
my advise would be to stay away from the scale for 2-3 weeks, but stay on your eating & exercizing plan.. AND take you measurements, you'd be amazed at the loss in inches even though the scale doesn't move..
and I also agree w/ the other posts about changing the # of calories that you eat from day to day,
I found a website which looks and sounds pretty stupid when you 1st look at it (not to mention the name of the site kinda ticks me off ) and of course they want you to buy stuff from them..I DO NOT IN ANY WAY ENDORSE THIER PRODUCT OR WANT YOU TO BUY IT.... but i you read it, it does make sense

Welcome to the board! This is a great source of strength and encouragement. I hope you find it to be as helpful as I have. I started my program in June of 2006 and I've lost 103 pounds. I have about 64 - 74 pounds left to go.
I haven't read the other posts yet, I'll try to get to it, but I just wanted to ask you what your idea of eating everything right is? Are you exercising? Taking vitamins? Are you eating too many carbs in forms of processed grains and not enough of them in whole grains and veges? A LOT of factors determine the speed of weight loss.
One thing to remember, you must be burning more calories than you consume. And while you may feel, or think you are, it is very highly possible you aren't if you are not logging your food and exercise to evaluate daily. There is a good website for this: www.fitday.com
There are alot of people to try to do this weight loss without a plan. I did. And I struggled for YEARS off and on with that. I wanted to do it the "healthy" way, slowly etc. I guess those are good words to use for "easy softer way". There is not easy way out of this. It's all hardcore grunt work. But you CAN do it and I have a feeling you WIL. And, let me tell you, if you don't have a plan, there is seriously LITTLE hope of getting to your goal. You can be on a plan you pay for, or draw up your own plan of healthy eating after doing research on it, but it's got to be in "plan" style and you just need to stick to it and journal journal journal. Even if your plan starts out as, "I'm going to eat 1200 calories a day for the next week". Ok, then count the calories, log every morsel that goes past your lips and see how it works. If it's still not going well, you can look at the journal and really evaluate what food groups you ate too much of or not enough of. Your initial "plan" can be that simple. But if you've been trying to just "watch what you eat", it won't work for the long haul. That's what people do when they need to lose 20 pounds. We've got more than that and it takes a serious commitment and you ARE WORTH IT and you CAN DO IT!!
Oh, and don't forget the 8 glasses of water.
Well, that's it for my little pep talk. I'm a go getter when it comes to this stuff so if I'm too dramatic I appologize, but I am SOOOO fanatical about this! I feel so much better and I can't tell you enough, what a wonderful wonderul step it is that you are taking!
First off, welcome to the board!!
I am not sure if I got it right, but this is what I understand: You've been trying to lose weight for about 2 weeks, you dropped 15 pounds
