Holy cow! It got really warm here this weekend and it reminded me of how far behind I am! Last week we got 5 inches of snow and we had a couple of days that started below 10 degrees. When I was snug inside my bulky clothes it seemed like I still had winter to contend with. Now it feels like Spring and I'm feeling shocked.

Does pleasant weather inspire you? What's the hardest time of year for you? What are your favorite secrets of getting yourself in focus?

I love spring, being able to shed all the layers. We just exited from a couple weeks of a deep freeze of single digits and sure glad to see the sun and 50°. Just the bright sun and the warmer feeling gets me out walking. Being outside inspires me to eat more salads and lighter foods. I hate winter esp now my age is kicking in and I really had it hard this year. Since I lost the weight i am always freezing but I wouldn't reverse for anything!

Annie,
We had a taste of spring here this weekend - after the Arctic was here last week.

I am a summer girl - love to be able to be outside and warm, love the fresh vegetables and fruit.

I definietly find I eat for 'comfort' more in the winter and the other seasons are easier, so I am ready to get inspired - but in New England, we get a lot of false starts so I won't be surprised if we are shoveling again soon...

Summer was here on the weekend LOL.. temperatures were in the 90's!! And we're expecting heavy showers on Wednesday. This is actually the craziest month in the year when it comes to weather (actually the only crazy month).

Mary,
I think that's what got my attention. I was at my top weight last winter and I'm still wearing the same clothes which have become roomy despite my regaining. I had dropped a size by the end of summer so I know my warmer weather clothes are going to be snug if I don't get moving!

I think/hope/pray the cold winter is behind us here in bama where the temps have been in the 70's and we even touched the 80's a couple time and are supposed to again today. I like the warmer weather as the cold just brings sickness to my house.......At least in the summer teh temps don't fluctuate between 20 and 80 each day........LMAO!!

Yeah, suprisingly this weekend was pretty warm. I had to turn on my air conditioning and I hardly ever do that. It's raining now, but I almost had to pull out my shorts.(I'm not ready yet) I don't believe by the time summer comes that I will have lost enough weight to wear a bathing suit or anything but I'm on the right track though. I kinda had a mishap this weekend and had a small amount of pie, but I'm not going to punish myself for it or anything, it was just irresistible.:)

I LOVE the warmer weather...once we get past the mud and wetness and all the up down weather sickies! But I would like it to stay spring and then go to fall. I hate sweating away in the summer. and then there is the shorts and swim wear! I have VERY bad varicose veins on my legs I try to live in capri's as long as I can. Maybe if there is a little less "insulation" on me this year it will be slightly more bearable.

but I love that spring feel and even the smell. warming earth and flowers. I can't wait!!
