New and looking for some weight buddies!

My name is Alyssa. I am 21 years old and unfortunety, very overweight. I started dieting and working out at the beginning of March. At that time, I weighed 328.8 Lbs. I couldn't even believe it. Well, now I weigh 318.0 Lbs, So I've lost almost 11 lbs. I really wanna stick with it this time, but I'm having a really hard time sticking with it. This is a make or break time for me. I've been putting this off ever since I had my daughter Zoe who is two next month.

How does this site work? I see things about water consumption and I wanna be part of it!

I'm just eating less and working out once or twice a day. While I'm watching the View and I've been trying to keep myself busy, walk everywhere, and stay active.

Congratulations on your fantastic results.... I wish you continued success. Are you following any specific plan? Are you exercising?


How does the site work? Well, feel free to reply to any existing posts, start a new thread, and join in any challenges. We do weekly weigh ins and you can start your own journal. We're pretty friendly around here, so just jump right in with us. If you have any questions, ask away.


I've stopped the water war last week, but I see new people getting interested. I will post a sign-up thread shortly and see how many people are interested. If there are enough people, I can get it up again

I'm kinda following my OWN plan because I'm going to have to live with it to lose the weight. I'm exercising for 20 minutes 2X a day. (I'm a stay at home mom, so I have time.)
It's been wonderful to see the results. I really wanna get one of those cute weight loss tickers and I'm very interested in the water war thing.

To get a ticker up (or any other graphical signature) you need to subscribe to the "Express Yourself" Package. Or if you'd rather not subscribe, you can show your progress like this:
