Well it is almost April and it is time for another change. Exercise kinda suprised me this month and just natuarally occurred. Wasn't planned and wasn't a goal but it happened that way anyways. HOWEVER, despite exercise and water I have stop losing anything and have actually gained a bit. Not much but still. I am hoping most of it is due to PMS but ...........can't be sure so.....Here I am trying to decide what to change next month.
This is me asking for suggestions. I am going to change little by little cuz I know if I do this big drastic change I will fail like i have so many times before. I know I can't go too low on calories or I will gain, Yea I am weird, if I eat less than 1800 calories I find

So i've been doing the same thing...trying to change just one thing at a time. The first thing i did was to commit to a eating cutoff time. During the week, I do not eat anything past 7:00 pm. Weekends, when I know I will be up later, i bump the time to like 7:30- 8. Just by not eating after that time, I know I will wake up hungry the next morning and therefore will have to eat breakfast which jumpstarts my metabolism. Plus, having a cutoff time helps me avoid any extra calorie intake in which I know I won't be able to burn off sine I am going to bed soon. Other than that, everything is the same except for I also just started walking daily. I go for an hour everyday. Rain or shine. But if its raining too hard, I break out my Dance dance Revolution mat, for the PS2. That is the greatest game ever!
Good luck!

Don't have any, but if I do upper body strength it tends to mess with my chest, which sucks cuz I really like lifting weights.....LMAO
The stairs are my strength training..........LMAO And of course lifting my 32 lb ds!!
I am looking more for food ideas, time to change one of the things I mentioned but am stumped as to which would be the best choice and one I can live with.

Angela,
I'm suggesting this because it was so helpful to me this month - How about just journaling your food - seeing if what you think you are eating matches up with what you really are eating? I was really surprised by how much I was eating that I just couldn't admit to myself.
That would give you some 'evidence' to make changes from.
And, a non-related question - I've noticed that sometimes you say 'I'll never go there' Like about Disneyworld or Alaska. Is there a reason why you think this can't happen? Do you think you wouldn't like to travel? Or does the money part seem overwhelming? Or is DH just a stay at home guy?
I ask because the 'Where have you traveled' thread has made me realize how many places I've been, and most of them have been since I turned 35...if you think you don't want to travel, that's fine and dandy, but if you want to see the world, if that's your goal, I hope you can believe that it will happen for you - maybe not soon and maybe not often, but I think you could make just about anything you want to happen..you are very resourceful, and you have a lot of life ahead of you... hope you keep all of your options open for what you most want.

First off, I think what you're doing is really great.
Let's see.. changes..
I'd say the most effective MIGHT be the meat thing. But like you said this would be the hardest. So the question is, are you willing to take this month as a big challenge, or would you rather have a smaller change that you stick to. It really depends on your mind frame.
Or you might try something like this... Chose

DH is a stay at home kind of guy and yes money is an issue too. With 3 kids to put through college we don't have a lot to spend on extravangces..LOL
Biggest reason I say it though is I am NOT going to get dh outta this area. I have tried, his best friend has tried and it just isn't happening. Best friends tried to get us to go to the mountains in Tn and he wouldn't go, saying it was because of my asthma and he didn't think the mountain air would be good but I have heard it helps cuz it is clearer so I don't know.
Journaling, I keep saying I am going to start back but I do it for a few days and quit cuz it takes too much energy. LMAO I know sorry excuse but......I am not fooling myself with how much I am eating. I know approximately how much I am eating from when i was journaling but I won't admit it here. LMAO The thing is I seem to lose weight more when I am eating 2200 calories or more. Don't ask me why but I do. If I exercise and eat at least 2200 calories I do okay but when I try to restrict my calories below I either maintain or gain. Go figure. I have went as low as 1800 and done okay for a little while and then BAM nothing. SO that is why I said I am concentrating on health more than weight this time BUT I do want to see more inches fly off, specifically in the abdomen area..LOL the last 2 kids took a toll there.
I am seriously thinking I need to cut back on the red meat cuz not only is that going to be healthier for my heart (dh's need some help for sure) but it would save on fat and calories. I have learned one thing in the past year, IF I am to count anything it needs to be fat because if I watch my fat I lose, but after a while I tend to get slack about this and quit. Taking from your lifestyle, I want to change something that will benefit health as well as weight. I want to concentrate on healthy moreso than weight. DON"T get me wrong I want to be HOT one day soon but I want to be healthy more.
