to offer for someone who is struggling or just getting started?

I know we all hit times when we struggle, and it seems that our group grows every day, so I thought it would be a good idea for everyone to share some of the things they have learned throughout their journey.

One of the things that seems to have helped me is thinking "outside the box". In other words, I try new foods that I haven't tried before. I made hummus for the first time in my life. It's really good and healthy! I've been cooking vegetables that I have always known about but never cooked myself. This has helped keep things interesting. The other thing I adhere to is never using the word "bad"...as in a "bad" food or I've been "bad". Somehow that reduces things to a childish level. It really gets to me when someone has a piece of cake and looks sheepishly at you and says "I've been bad". No you haven't been "bad"!! You just had a piece of cake. If you had shop lifted the cake from the bakery along with $500 from the cash register, THEN you've been "bad"!!! Sure, like the other folks here have said, we all get off the program from time to time....that isn't bad...just human.
