So how did everyone do?

Hi everyone. I am just wondering as Easter is almost over, how everyone did today? I know the chocolate is so tempting and yes I had a few pieces of it. But how did everyone else do? And what did everyone do for Easter? Me? DH and I went over to my parents and had a nice dinner with B-B-Q Beef sandwhiches, potatoe salad and baked beans. MMMMMMMMMM, It was GOOD!!!!!!!!!! My newphew got to hunt for easter eggs and we do our traditional (goes back to when my grandparents were young) Easter Egg Bash. DH or I didn't win but my sister did! Yay for her! Tomorrow is back to drinking lots of water and exercising for me!

I was actually pretty good. I worked out, drank my water and didn't eat even a little candy. We went to my husband's parents house and they knew I was dieting and tried to make a healthy meal. It was really nice.
Good job for you for getting back to it tommorow! That's half the battle.

I had no candy yesterday either. I did well on eating and drinking my water too.
Sat night however I did taste the cake batter of the cake I was making.....LOL but not much of it.

Not too bad on Easter day. I had a couple of little chocolate eggs (bite size) and thought "Eh, not worth it." I did pretty well otherwise and saved room and calories for my mom's ricotta pie which she only makes on Easter. So delicious and really a pretty low in calories and fat the way she makes it. It pushed me over a couple hundred calories yesterday, but SO worth the treat! (Should have passed on the 60 calories or so of chocolate.)

I haven't had any Easter candy. On Easter we went to my BIL's and had dinner, it was pretty healthy and yummy. I did have some fried oreos and homeade ice cream.
I might get some Easter candy today while I am at the store if I find any I like in the discount stuff.
I did OK on Sunday, not as good as I would have liked on Saturday.
But I only brought home nice healthy stuff, not those disgustingly fabulos marshmallow chickens...yes, I had NO PEEPS! For which I am so proud of myself.
And I am back on plan today.
Happy Spring (if you see any, please send some my way)

Sarah,
I just have to ask 'Is the money you'll save on half price candy worth the cost in calories?'
If they would only take half the calories out the day after the holiday, it would be worth it...
Of course, I also have to say that in our 'communty candy jar' at work, we are still working on leftover halloween candy...and I saw a Hershey's kiss wrapped in green foil today, so it wasn't from Valentine's day...we'll get to the Easter candy around the fourth of July!
I do love a bargain!

SJ,
I'm not planning on eating most of it, I got it for gifts and dh. I will save some for myself so I can have a treat I like once in a while.
I actually got a lot of candy and it has been sitting next to me on the couch and I haven't been tempted to eat any of it, I will have a piece for dessert though.
I was very BAD... but now I'm back on track.. gave most of the chocolate away so the temptation is not there anymore

Didn't do too bad on Easter. We went to his cousins house for the big meal. I managed to not have seconds on anything (except for the pumpkernickel bread) and the only dessert I had was mom in law's dirt cake. (it was gooood too!) I did eat some jelly beans, but only the purple ones. The rest of the day we proceeded to my grandparents house, where we ate nothing and then to my parents house where my mom sent home some ham spread and some leftover ham and pasta salad, which we ate later on that night. Did drink lots of water through out the day!!!
Hope everyone had a nice Easter!
