What do you wear to exercise?
- Whatever clothes I have on when the mood strikes
- T-shirt, shorts, sweats--old comfy things
- Cute, coordinated workout gear
- Who me? Exercise?
- Other

I voted for 'Other' I wear t-shirts/shorts/yoga pants - but not 'old' - I buy them just to work out in and I try to have bright colored t-shirts to try to look cheerful. And I am loking forward to the day when I am brave enough to buy a really tight cutout top and wear it to the gym - I may never be that brave, but it is something I am striving for.

I also voted other. I could have answered all of the above. it depends on what type of exercise I am doing. If is is one of my walks (or even the strength training) I will often just do it in what ever I have on. If I don't have to take the kids and can work it a little harder, I wear something else. (tshirt, stretch pants/ yoga pants/ etc.) If I am going to do a video at home, I will go for the long sports bra top and yoga pants. (not a pretty sight, but it really sets the mood for a great workout) I do have a few cute sets, for if I am meeting a friend to go workout or just feeling like I need the extra boost. One set I bought second hand and is SO cute, but didn't fit. It is a goal set now. I cannot wait to workout in it. The only consistent is I did get a nice pair of workout shoes.
Happy exercising everyone!!

What made me think of this is that two of my neighbors who are rail thin often show up at the bus stop in truly cute workout clothes.

I too wear baggy, older things - way oversized tshirts and sweat/yoga hybrid pants - I guess I feel that if I'm covering up my body then I'll stand out less in the gym...and I always work out in the gym (I don't like working out at home). If I go for a walk outside or a hike then I'm often wearing jeans. I do have great shoes for gym workouts and for walking and hiking - I invested to get a trukly comfortable fit.
It was recommended to me recently that if I were to buy some cuter - perhaps coordinated! - workout clothes it would start making me feel better about myself...the problem is that the really cute stuff doesn't fit me yet!

Well almost, if I'm wearing a suit, I take the jacket off and exercise in the top & pants. The thing is, if I lingered too long & go get something else to wear, the mood will probably pass LOL
