Weekends are always a little harder for me because routine goes out the window.
my days off of work are the hardest to stay on track as far as eating goes, cause it is so easy to look in the fridge every hour on the hour. but when the weather is nice we try to stay outside as much as possible so that helps.
as far as water goes, i fill up a big pitcher of water and leave in on the counter so it is easy to acces and it reminds me to drink.

No special plans for the weekend since DH is working (3-12 hour shifts).
I forgot to answer my own question!

Weekends are really hard for me too. I wake up 3 or more hours later than during the week so my whole schedule is thrown off. I still try really hard to stick to my planned eating during the day but dinner is normally different. We are being incredibly active everyday now, we do somthing with the kids, walking, bike riding, swimming, whatever. And we keep that up on the weekends. No problem with water here.
That being said, tomorrow is my dh's birthday and he wants to go out to dinner tonight and then his sister is having a bonfire for dh and my nephews birthday's. SO this weekend eating may be a little out of whack, but I will try to be strong.
I've been struggling with the eating side of things this week...exercise is going well and I plan to keep it up over the weekend. For the food side of life, I plan to spend this weekend putting together a real eating plan for the coming week and stocking up on the supplies I need and preparing food to make it easy to grab.

Me, too, Kelly! Tomorrow, I'll be hitting the farmer's market, Trader Joe's, and anywhere else I can think of so I'll be better prepared for healthy eating in the coming week. We have rain predicted tomorrow, but unless it's absolutely pouring, I plan to get in at least an hour walking outside both days (early in the morning).
Other than that, it should be quiet... movie and office on Sunday, house things on Saturday... no other plans to go out... boring but restful.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
No big plans this weekend. Hopefully some yard/garden work for me as it is suppose to be great weather. I too have a harder time on the weekends. There is just to routine. It only gets worse in the summer when a lot of the time it is like one long weekend. Plus we are an outdoor kind of family and it stays light out so late that all of a sudden you will look at the clock and it can be as late as 8pm and we haven't had dinner.
Then there are the weekends that we go camping. Which we do a lot! ;-) I have a hard time packing healthy travel food. I can't keep produce fresh in a cooler very well. So I am thinking ahead and trying to come up with some great easy healthy options that will pack well and not necessarily need to be refrigerated.
Here's to a great healthy weekend for all!
