URGGhHH.. i'm so PO'd at myself... I've had a bad week so far as eating goes... I haven't been watching my portion sizes as much as I should, DH made a very yummy beef roast, mashed taters, carrots... it was so yummy, and I was SOOO overful that i felt like puking..
plus its the season for root beer floats....YUM... and I admit, i've been over indulging.. I've had 3 of them in the last 6 days... bad me...
and just to torture myself more, i stepped on the scale early (i usually wait til mondays) so this morning I was back up to 260.
I told DH to get the ice cream OUT of the house, if you have to eat it all yourself.. DO IT.. Oh well, life goes on. I'll live, I just have to "begin again"..

I am going to take my measurements on Thursday and compare them to the ones I took last year on my birthday.. so I'll let you know what my stats have been over the last year.

Six words-Diet Root Beer-lowfat ice cream...

You can make this a 100 calorie treat if you want to-(of course, One a Day, like the vitamin-three is a little over the top)- Its one of my favorite treats in the summer.

One time when my nephew was little, I made him a 'woot beer fwoat' and when his mother (always working on those good manners) asked 'What did you say to Aunty SJ?' he said 'Dewicious!' So every time I have one now, I think of that and of course have to say 'dewicious!'

Good for you for recognizing you are not doing what you want to and getting back on plan.

Sara, I noticed that you lost a lot of weight already I know this sounds weird but be happy you are in the hundred and not 2 or 3 hundreds . I have not been under 200 since 1997 that was a long time ago. I struggle even get to 299 . Well earlier this week I started again and this is what I do. I watch portions also I am in a weight loss challenge on another website and what the nutritionist there told me was to do this . Have 400 calories for breakfast and 400 for lunch and then a 150 calories snack generally a fruit or vegetable and for dinner 550 calories and a 100 calorie desert...That is ewhat I am using. Well I been doing that. Well I wish you well.

I have a feeling you're already back on track.. you lost a lot of weight already and you've got your birthday coming up and I know you want to be as close to your goal as you can. I hope you enjoyed your fun off-meals... the trick is to leave it at that and get back on track. If not, we'll have to come over and restrain you ourselves LOL

diet soda.. yuck... I can't stand the taste of anything diet.. heck i very rarely drink regular soda for that matter.

and as for being happy at the weight i've lost already.. I am happy with the weight i've lost so far, it has taken me 2 years (so far) and I'm still working at it.
I didn't mean for it to sound like I was complaining about how little or far I've come on this journey

luckily. I only gained 2 pounds this week and I'm back on track.. DH drank the last rootbeer last night, so the temptation is no longer there. LOL..
