Okay now that I am below 300 it seems like I am addicted to the scale now more than ever. I have lost 5 pounds since I last posted and in my heart I know thats alot but in my mind it seems like very little. It is getting so bad that I know weigh myself after each and every morsel of food I put into my body just to make sure that I don't gain back what I am loosing. I know in my heart thats a bad thing to do but I just can't make my mind understand that. So I am now using measurements to see gains and losses. I have also been pretty sick this past week with a sinus infection and have even lost my voice. My throat is so raw I am only able to eat cold foods like popsicles and pudding. I am buying the sugar free products but I am afraid that since that is all I am living off of for now that it will hinder my efforts in some terrible way. I do have a friend I can chat with on instant messenger but since she is having problems right now with things I don't want to burden her with my "stupid" issues. Anyway thanks for listening to me.

First off, congratulations to you for getting under 300!
try not to get too discouraged or too "addicted" to weighing yourself.
I've been exactly where you are.. I will lose 5 pounds in 1 week and then not lose for antoher 2-3 weeks.. and sometimes when i've been really bad (like this week).. i'll gain..
for Xmas I bought myself an electronic scale to keep at home (before i would only wiegh in once a week at our fitness center at work).. now that i the scale is at home i find myself stepping on it 2-3 times a week. which really sucks cause, my weight will fluctuate a couple of pounds dependin on how much water i'm retaining etc..
so keep at it.. put the scale in your closet until your "official" weigh in time and try to forget about it.

hon sorry you are feeling so poorly!! Sinus infections are evil, I get them all the time so I know. Good for you for seeing that you were weighing too often and good luck breaking that habit.
