Family - I am married to a great man (just had my 13th wedding anniversary), we have three handsome boys. The oldest is 13 and testing us right now at all new levels, the 10 year old is also coming to a new stage of life where he is too cool for everything, and our sweet 3 year old keeps us sane right now (although he can also be a handful). we thought we were done having children 8 years ago when my husband had a bone marrow transplant. but he is our little miracle kid and we are so glad to have him. We have been through a lot together and is has only made us stronger! Although starting so young and dealing with so much, most of the time I feel closer to 40 than 30. ;-)

Describe your plan for getting healthy - My plan has been to change my lifestyle habits and to do it a few changes at a time till I have found a place that works for me. To eat/cook better, control my portions and to drink more water! I have also been incorporating exercise into my everyday life. (and while I have been a little off track this past week, I know it will take a combination of ALL these things to get where I want to be.)
now if I could just get dh on board. ;-)

Describe your plan for getting healthy: My plans have recently changed due to illness, but I am hoping to continue to lose 1-2lbs a week until I am at my goal. It seems as though taking it slow is my healthiest choice. I also just recently changed to a gluten free diet for my digestive system. I am hoping that I will be able to get more excercise once we are settled into the new house.

Describe your plan for getting healthy: I have hired a personal trainer that I see twice a week, I am trying hard to work on portion control, and eatting more fruits and veggies then sweets. Try to workout additional 3 days a week, though as anyone with kids knows sometimes that is hard. And reward myself when I reach my little goals I set for myself.

Describe your plan for getting healthy: Slim fast, reduced salt, reduced fat, cut down on sugars, starches. Eliminate fizzy drinks, processed foods, fried foods, and enriched white bread products. Drink no less than 80oz of water a day. Exercise at Curves at least 3X a week + weights and stretching at home. (it's one heck of a plan...)
