Hello everyone. I am starting the journey towards the 'thinner' me. I have at least 100lbs to lose and it seems like it is impossible, but I know that I can - because I've lost 80 before. I hope that everyone has wonderful advice and can offer support, it's going to be a bumpy road! Thanks to all and I look forward to talk to everyone.

Welcome!
I am also new to this particular board. I am in the midst of my weight loss journey. I have already lost 42 pounds and have about forty more to go. But it is soooo worth it. I feel wonderful every time I fit into clothes that I haven't fit into in awhile. Good luck to you and hope to talk to you more!
Kerlin
Thanks Kerlin and wow! Congrats on your 42lb lost already! That's great. I can't wait until I can say that. I have lost about -- rougly 10-12lbs, but I've been lurking around that for over a month, so it's time to really put my effort into it.
I have at least 100 to go and I know I can -- it's just so hard sometimes.
I'll cheer you on too! Good luck
Welcome to the board.
What are you plans/goals for your new way of life?

HI Sara,
Well, I joined Weight Watchers last year and lost 30lbs, but of course - I gained that back. So, I'm going to do that again and I also recently joined the gym and I go to Step class 3 times a week and then usually one additional night for cardio. I know this will work for me, but I'm alittle concerned about how fast and how much. My body has always responded well to exercise, but I'm getting older, so I'm not sure anymore.
I'm currently 250lbs and my ending goal would be around 140ish, I guess. I'm going in baby steps and make small goals as the whole goal is just too overwhelming at times. I'm going on a 'girls mini vacation' with my friends in August, so I would hope to at least drop 20lbs by then. Which, I'm expecting to be able to reach, if only because I do tend to generally drop weight really quickly for the first week or 2 that I'm dieting.
Is anyone else on WW? What has worked for everyone else on this weight losing journey?
Welcome aboard!!
Congratulations on making the commitment to lose weight and on finding a plan to do it. It's great that you're incorporating exercise.. that's the area that is a problem with me. WW's is a great program and I heard a lot of people have success with it. You already said you had results with it before, so I guess you should see results this time around as well.
Hoping you all the luck on losing weight. Looking forward to knowing you better
Angela
Welcome to the board! You'll find lots of support here. I also did WW a few years ago and did well on it, but then gained back the weight (and then some more) after I stopped doing it.
