Day 1
3
Wed, 05-16-2007 - 8:45pm

Hi all...ok - so today is day #1 for me (again) and while I have stayed within my WW daily points, I didn't eat ---exactly -- healthly and correctly. I had purchased some low fat pringles at the store, and I have eaten almost the whole can. I just can't have things like that around as I can't seem to control myself. I'm frustrated with myself, but is day #1, so I'm just going to keep going. I wish I were stronger, but that will come. I can't give up already!! I can do this. I can.

Whew! one down - sooooo many to go.

Hey Hun,

You can't ever give up it will get easier, a friend of mine once said that we need to diet smarter not harder. If you are a chip fan than there are these new kind out that are made from rice and veggies and/or fruit. I will get the same and post it for you, they are very good and can take that edge off. Or get some carrot chips and celery bites along with some cucumbers pre cut into slices and have them ready with some yummy dip for when that craving comes. My dietician told me to get a hand held video game or learn to play a video game when i start to need to munch even though I am not hungry as it will take your mind off of it .

I know what you mean by Day1.. again ... i feel like every day is a day 1 lol stay strong and remeber that its ok to stray as long as you dont beat yourself up about it and get back to where you need to be. U-turns are always allowed =D

Have a great day!!

Yeah, I'm a snack food junkie too. But what I found really helped was if when I got a snack of sorts as soon as I brought it in the door I opened it up and broke it into servings I could live with eating. Then I zipped them into individual zip lock baggies. With me having the open bag of whatever it was right in front of me enticed me to eat more. So having a smaller preplanned serving that I controlled previously helped a ton. That and I looked up companies and products and found that a lot of the 'diet' products that were sold in stores under said title ususally had a cheaper equivalent not labelled diet. An example of this are those new little oreo snack packs or whatever they call them with 90 calories a bag, they are pretty much just good old fashion teddy grams if you look at the label.
P.S. Good luck on day two!!
