I'll make this short and sweet since you probably get a newbie posting all the time. I'm 29 yrs old and my start weight was 310lbs. Over the last few months I've lost 44lbs and now weigh 266lbs. I've hit the dreaded plateau and it SUCKS!! Instead of just getting frustrated from week to week I've decided to ask for support and continue on. So HELLO and I hope to join the group and reach my goal(150lbs).
Thanks

Welcome to the group :)

I appreciate all your messages very much. When I read the replies and then re-read my own message I realized 44lbs is quite a bit. I never really took time to just celebrate that. I know I have a long way to go and need to stay focused, but I do need to celebrate my progress along the way. Someone had asked what I've done well... I drink water--eat low carb/low fat--and I'm a fish eating vegeterian so I don't eat any other meat. Oh, and I excercise at least 5 days a week--need to excercise longer than I do but I do my best. So that's about it, it's definitely a lot harder than it sounds though. One of my biggest problems other than the length I excercise is I weigh myself everyday sometimes even twice a day--not good. I should probably weigh myself once a week but it's so hard to wait.
Talk to you guys later.
Thanks again!!
Welcome! I am new as well. Congrats on your loss so far. I hope you get over your plateau soon and continue to have great sucess.
Welcome again.
