I just read an article that inspired me to continue working in stairs like I have been.

Staci,
I worked on doing the stairs this winter when it was too cold to walk outside at lunch time. But I've gotten out of the habit.

I accept your challenge-140 extra flights of stairs in two weeks...

I'm going to start on Monday, and I'll keep you posted.

Funny, I've been thinking over the past few days that it would be good for me to add a couple flights each day...so I accept the challenge too! 10 flights a day for 2 weeks...I'll start Monday as well!

LMAO Annie. I have done this. However it does get hard at times so to add to it, if I just can't make it to another floor to go I go to the one on my floor that is FURTHEST from my office. Today, I went to that one and it was so full I had to go back to the other one so it like doubled my steps!!

And when those nasty chocolate cravings hit that I can't fight, I tell myself the only way i will get it is to go up 1 -2 flights of stairs, so do you really want it taht badly. Hate to say sometimes the answer is still yes but I had to work a little harder to get it!!

So...what do you count as a flight of stairs? Most in-home flights are about 14 stairs, but in office buildings they're often closer to 20.

LOL...just a thought!

The stairs at my work......1 flight=24 steps!

So I guess I am going over by 4 steps every flight......LMAO

I climb 2 or more flights a day right now. Depends on how I feel and how much time I get to go climb others.....If I ahve to go downstairs to turn in paperwork then I get a bonus of 4 flights there, then if I don't forget to take my break, I will go climb 4 flights for break, and if I go out at lunch I have an automatic 4 flights just for coming into the office & going out to lunch. LOL

So I guess what I am saying is I can't believe how many stairs I have been climbing lately!!! LOL

Me to climb stairs, I am still floored!!
