When I read jigglefree_thatsme's post it made me realize how few people I know of who have lost significant weight and kept it off.

My mom lost weight 2-3 years ago using phentermine. I'm not sure how much, but she has kept it off. She went from a size 16 to a size 10.
My cousin lost 100 pounds within the last year or two, using weight watchers. He is still losing, and will have to let you know later if he keeps it off.

I am tooting my own horn. I have been at goal since November 2003 after losing 165 pounds. I still exercise daily usually 40 minutes every morning and live the program daily (WW)

Sue just knowing there are those out there that are a success and are keeping it off is a big help. I know I struggle more than succeed but it lets me know that it is possible if I can just work on myself to get in the right mindset!!
My best friend being here is also a HUGE help cuz I know how long she struggled with her weight and knowing it finally clicked for her and she succeeded makes me have hope that one day it will for me too. We have been friends since high school so I remember the struggle very well!!

it is a struggle and will always be but you can learn control. it took me 4 years of struggling but being stubborn helped lol
i tell my boys it took me 30 years to lose the "baby" fat from my pregnancies. Once i was deterrmined, i kept pushing ahead no matter what the obstacles were- we all have our ups and downs but picking yourself up after a mis-eating cecision makes it all doable. remember you didn't gain it quickly and you certainly will lose it slowly - which is much healthier anyway-forming these new healthy habits takes hard work and lots of time.
If i can do it, YOU CAN DO IT. Jut keep a positive attitude.

That is what I keep telling myself, that if I continually start over eventually it has GOT to stick!! LOL
