I feel like I have deserted you all, and I MISS YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
Seriously you all have helped me through a lot in the past year and half and now I feel like I have deserted you all in the past week.
PLEASE DON"T HATE ME!! LOL
Seriously I am feeling much better about the whole work situation. It helps that I do have 1 co worker on my side that agrees that this is completely biased and uncalled for. I mean seriously how did she expect me to finish that many files in less than 2 weeks?? So anyways, I feel better about that, still CAN NOT WAIT FOR DECEMBER!! But I am okay with the fact that I have too.......
So hope you all are doing well
WELCOME to any newbies, good luck to any that are struggling and now I am taking a page out of Lady Irish's book and I have been curling up with Harry Potter for the last week rereading all the old books in anticipation for reading the new one when DD gets through. I have already read 3 over and have started on the 4th.....Boy do they get thicker each book or what......LMAO But it is so very relaxing to me and I only have a couple weeks to finish up before school starts back for me and I am too busy to think straight let alone read for pleasure!!

Angela,
We miss you too, but we want you to be able to feed your children, so we understand that 'not getting fired' thing you're doing.
We'll have to have 'lunch' together some day next week.
Have a great weekend!

Deserter schmeserter (or something like that)...we know that you can't be online from work anymore...and we know that you're still a huge part of this community!

Hope you had a great weekend with Harry... I won't tell Hoyt if you don't <>... and that this week brings a better atmosphere for you at work. Look at all the adjustments you've made in the past year. Fitting us in outside of working hours is a piece of (angel-food) cake compared to most of that... so I look forward to hearing from you on a slightly different schedule... as long as you keep checking in!

Angela,
I am missing you tonight...but I want you to know I am trying to help fill your shoes and be part of the 'welcome wagon' to all the newcomers...Hope all is going well and you are not forgetting how important you are to us - but mostly, that you are remembering how important you are to you and that you are being your determined self.
Best wishes

THANK YOU SO MUCH SJ!! You don't know how much that means to me. I am afraid I haven't been a good girl with eating and now I am on steroids (went and got myself sick, probably all the stressing I have been doing let it finally hit me full force in the chest but oh well). So anyways, I am just going to get through this course, then go shopping this weekend and get the kids ready for school next week. So not like me putting it off to the last moment like this but things just transpired that way this year, so gonna have an ACTION PACKED weekend as I already had a shopping trip planned with my friend for me some work clothes, now I got to take both kids shopping this weekend too, and I told my mom I would take her too. Sigh, I not thinking, made my weekend over full. So here is to NOT COLLAPSINg.......LMAO
So anyways, thanks for thinking of me, missing you all too. Hope to check in this afternoon since I am leaving at lunch to go to Tiffi's orientation tonight. Boss not happy as I left yesterday very sick at lunch. Hey she is lucky I went in at all. LOL
GUESS WHAT I REALLY DON"T CARE IF SHE ISN"T HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!!!
Angela
Angela,
Just checking in to see if you survived the weekend shopping. Did Kaiti buy stuff that you are SHOCKED by? I went to a show last night set in the sixties and the mini skirts were so short-and I know I wore my skirts that short...it shocks me now! But the young girls seem to show so much skin today, it must be a trial to shop with teenagers.
And what about you? Did you find stuff you liked for you or did all the money get sent on your little darlings?
Is Blade going to 'school' or does he just think he is? I don't want to think of you putting him on the bus for the first time-I expect kleenex stock will go up that week...
Anyway, I just wanted to say 'Hi' and that I'm thinking of you.

OH MOM you just don't know anything! LOL, remember when you were her age? It was all about friends, boys and clothes. Mom and Dad could never do anything without embarrassing you (or at least that's how it was for me) My dad's favorite thing to do was sing my ding-a-ling in front of my friends.. how mortifying!! She'll come around, persistence does pay off in the end.
sounds like you got a nice workout in and some "quality" time in with the girls.

Angela,
My Dad always says that first, we thought he knew everything, then he must have got dumber and dumber because we thought he didn't know anything...but amazingly, he must have got smarter again because as we got older we asked for advice more and more often. I have a half brother and sister who are much younger,, so I got to actually watch him go through the cycle with them...it was pretty funny from the outside.
And my mom always told us that she and her friends went to embarassing school where they shared tips on how they embarassed their kids that week - so if we said, 'Mom, you're embarrassing me' she'd say 'oh good, let me write this down so I can tell my friends'. I learned to not tell her I was embarrassed so I wouldn't encourage her...she also offered to wear a sign to my brother's school events saying 'I am not ***'s mother' - needless to say, he didn't find that amusing...
This too shall pass....
