So for the past 2 weeks, I've been MIA on the boards for various reasons (one important being final exams and term papers due).

It sounds to me like you are definitely heading in the right direction! Good for you! I try to keep my calories around 1500 to 1800 and put an emphasis on exercise and water intake.

When I finally made my life changes last August, I got an eye opener about nutrition and how poor my "diet" really was. Now that I am really attempting to eat healthy to nourish and fuel my body, I feel so much better, healthier. And, I rarely crave junk food. Pretty amazing because it used to be a big part of my life. I was fortunate when I gave up cigarettes five and a half years ago too, I haven't wanted one since I put them down!
