There sure is isn't there? The world smells soooooo good sometimes. I've got to get to a place where I can be gratified by just smelling these things, and imagining the texture of it. Got a long way to go to get to that. I like the fact that food smells good and tastes good- I need to learn some control and moderation. Tall order, but maybe, just maybe, I am equal to the challenge.

Hey, Lissa -

I was out at the mall today shopping for my "mother of the groom dress" - (not successfully, mind you, but I was out there.)

Guess I should be happy that in my wee village of 150 people, there are no fast food joints for 2 hours- nearest town of size is a 2 hour drive- and all they have is a modified pizzahut adn KFC- it's a little place in a store. The town also has a restaurant that has a bit of everything, but you can't get chinese until after 5pm, cos that's when the guy who knows how to cook is in. So that's my fast food choices which we get to once a month to once every 2 months.
If I had a buck for every craving I couldn't answer I'd be so rich LOL

I grew up in a small town and of course, it was a long time ago.

I'm proud of you for resisting temptation!

I gave into chocolate cake yesterday, first time in MONTHS. My problem is it is a trigger food and now I want more. I had a few hershey kisses today. UGH. Good thing I don't have any at home, right now I think I could eat just about anything put in front of me right now. (PMS and a prednisone pack - bad combo)

I fell up, and down, cement stairs last week and did a pretty nice job on my left knee, shin, and ankle. I'm black and blue, and the doc said I will be for probably another month. I'm thankful I didn't break anything, but I am sore. Sore enough not to exercise for the first few days... Now those few days have turned into a week and part of it is that I still hurt, but the other part is I'm not feeling it.

I know it's not about feeling, it's about doing, but when it hurts, I don't want to!

So, my goal for tonight is not to eat any cake, how's that?!?!? Ever been there?

One more update, when I went to the doc, she upped my new medicine, and I REALLY think it is starting to kick in with the higher dose :-).

So, you didn't find your gown, how much longer, it's the end of this month, no?
