Yay me I was so excited, as someone suggested here a 30-30-30 workout last night 30 treadmill, 30 weights and 30 on the elliptical and I bumped some of my weights up last night and went up a program on the elliptical, I feel goooood....this is such a feat for me since last week was super hard to even get through the bare minimum (but I went!!!) Legs are a little sore today but it's not a can't walk but a I know I worked out last night sore...Thanks for celebrating with me!!!

I think it was me who suggested (based on what you were doing) that you work towads 30-30-30 - so YAY YOU!


If each week you try to increase the degree of difficulty on one of the three segments - either a higher level or incline on the tradmill or a heavier weight for one of your weight routines or a higher level on the eliptical - not too much of an increase, just a little something something each week to keep your body challenged.

SJ (as she mentioned) suggested it, to spend (based on the equipment I am using) to strive for 30 minutes on the eliptical, 30 mins on weights, and 30 mins on the treadmill.

Those gym mind games are great - I started out by saying - you just have to go to the gym, if after you get there, you don't want to work out, you can leave...and I never did.

I use three "machines"- the gazelle, weight bench thingie, and the Wii. I don't think I can physically do 30 minutes each yet, but I can start smaller and work my way up. It sounds like it will add the variety I need to keep from being bored and giving up! Thanks!
