OK ladies, by semi-popular demand - It's the March Music Moving Marathon...let's see what you've got!
The goal is to dance to one song a day and post it here...
Boogie on! (do you think that's how you spell boogie? maybe bogey?)

I"m still dancing..most mornings:-)
Awww, SJ, you RAWK!
Brilliant idea! What an inspired way to convince a wayward body and mind back into moving and smiling in the mornings while I try to get/stay back on the wagon. I wanted to get started right away, though, so I did one tonight...
'LDN' - Lily Allen
-- Misha
PS-- I'm utterly shocked to see how few of my iTunes are suitable for energetic dancing, so will probably be 'borrowing' ideas and hitting YouTube... keep 'em coming, please!
'I've Just Seen a Face' - Ludella Black
Energetic, but mercifully short (2:12). Here's the Beatles version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbKGsEK_T9g
'Tie Your Mother Down' - Queen
Um, the video was linked on another forum and I started moving, so figured, what the heck? BUT- I didn't make it to the end. Sad commentary on the state of my fitness, not necessarily the song.
'She's Electric' - Oasis
(Much better.)
'Build me Up Buttercup' - The Foundations

Twice. Because a) I skipped one, and b) it's such bouncy good fun! I should have played this yesterday, when I was in the dumps because I "gained" a pound from the day before. Never mind that my water-weight megaloss total for the week was 12.5 pounds, LOL. Gotta love first weeks, eh?
Some great choices!
I don't remember which days were which songs, but mine have been:
Ebony Eyes (Don Welch - late 70s)
Boogie Oogie Oogie (Taste of Honey - also late 70s)
Fooled Around and Fell in Love (Elvin Bishop - early/mid 70s)
Crocodile Rock (Elton John - early 70s)
Help!
This is so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!! Gotta join gotta join- I think dancing is such an awesome way to reintroduce exercise to the body and mind. Brilliant girls just brilliant!!
cuing up the nickelback and getting the water bottle handy

Lissa,
I've been enjoying going through my neglected CD collections (200 +) and finding upbeat music to dance to.
A great big hats of to SJ for coming up with this motiviational get-your-move-on idea.
Luv ya, SJ!
Liz
Glad you are all dancing away...I am restricting the weight bearing activities on my poor sad broken foot and only bogeying in my heart!
