Alright everyone, time to sound off!
What are you most looking forward to when you reach your goal weight?
I have 2 answers to this one: being able to shop at the cheaper decent clothing stores (like TJ Maxx and Bealls Outlet) and I'm also looking forward to not feeling embarrassed for my daughter when we're seen in public together. At 10 I know she doesn't really care not but in her teens, she will.

I amnot really focused so much on a goal weight as I am on getting back to good habits that I thought wre really really really set but turned out to be more jello like...
I want to feel on track and in control, and I know everything else will come from that.

As much as I love shopping, I am looking forward to being able to dance half the night away. I doubt I could make it through one waltz the way I've been feeling lately. When I was younger I was always going to dances, at the time living near a college campus had its perks. The ballroom dance club had dances about once a month, folk dance club met on Tuesdays, not to mention there used to be 2 bars with live bands on weekends that had fair sized dance floors. When I met my son's father it was at one of the ballroom dances, he couldn't stay off my feet. I haven't been out dancing since we were dating.
I have bugged my boyfriend about taking me dancing but he says

I am also really looking forward to be able to buy cute/well-made clothes in a "normal" store.
I love to dance too - my heyday was the days of disco - and disco will NEVER die for me...I dated a guy who, although not perfect in every way, loved to dance.
What I am looking forward to the most is knowing that I've added years to my life and will be healthier in my 'senior' years than I was in my 'middle' years.
How old are the kids?
Thanks Misty, for starting this thread!
