I haven't tried WW online, but years ago I did the meeting thing. It was great! Till I stopped going to the meetings. And yes, as someone said, it can be hard at times with all the calculations and points. You do have to plan your meals and check points all the time.

Sorry you're going through a rough time, hopefully people at this board can assist you through your weight loss journey. You said in your post that you would "do anything to lose weight". Set your mind to it, work hard at it (and I mean really work at it), and you can do it!!!

Maryanne, I want you to know that we are here for you and we are on your side.

I'd like to talk to you off the board about a couple of things, but if you can't or don't want to do that, it's ok.

I hope that you are continuing to journal about your food and that you can be really honest about it.

Hey Maryanne,

I tried to send you an email because I would like a chance to talk to you about some things "off the board" but you have your preferences set to not receive email.

I am going to go out on a bit of limb here and give you an email address for me... this is not my regular one, but it is one that you can reach me at if you want to talk about some things off the board.

Maryanne,

This is a journey. I am new to this board; I, too, want to help. I use the HMR program. I tried Nutri-System, but I did not like the taste of the food. Although there are fewer choices with HMR, about half of them taste great to me. One of the perks with HMR (like Nutri-System) is that the foods do not require refrigeration, so I can easily store several in my office and in the pantry at home without wasting space in the freezer. Some days are definitely better than others. The first 2 weeks were the hardest. Although I did not feel hungry, the portions were much smaller than I was used to. Now, months later, I am still working on understanding appropriate portion sizes, but with the help of HMR I am slowly changing my eating habits.
