Thank you for posting this, Tori.
First we lost Tony Hillerman. Next we lost Studs Terkel. They were both in their 90s. Their passing, though still great losses, came as no great surprise. But Michael Crichton was only 66! He was born in Chicago just four years earlier than I was!
Some people leave us at the end of their job. Others are taken from us way too soon.
