New Suspense Imprint Coming

Little, Brown and Company announced a new imprint, Mulholland Books, will launch in the spring of 2011. The name comes from Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills. (Have you seen the movie "Mulholland Drive?") The concept evokes memories of James M. Cain and Raymond Chandler.
With nine books planned for 2011, Mulholland Books plans to grow to 24 (one hardcover and one paperback per month) in 2012. Will yours be one of them? They will be looking for crime, mystery, suspense, intrigue, or even supernatural thrillers that make readers hungry for what's coming next.
