Man...I feel better this morning than I have in ages. Could it be that I went to bible study yesterday afternoon.....could there possibly be a connection with feeling good and God's word...:-)

Got up early so I could get in a run before I head out at 0600 and of course....post with my board buddies. What's your workout today?

What's your 15 minute project? I think mine will be to write to my nephew and/or my sponsor children. Well, that and get some stuff ready for DH to go to a fishing tournament tomorrow. I'm so glad he found a buddy to go with. I haven't met her yet though. I'm kidding!

What are you thankful for? This week I'm thankful for the Bible study group.

Have a great day!

Good morning,

I'm feeling inspired after reading a few Health articles on CNN this morning.

So, in short, I don't care how many meetings I have today, I'm going to go walking at lunch even if its a shorter one.

I read this article on Healthy Business Travel and I think I'll try some of the suggestions before the next trip. Reading a few of the articles on the site got me pumped-up to make Health my #1 priority.

Today's 15 min. project will be to write a letter to my sponsored 'daughter'. Thanks for the idea Phyllis!

Have a great day everyone!

Catherine.

'morning, Phyllis and gang!

Been gone a week (vacation). Nothing fancy. Spending time with the menfolk. I even took a few days off from excercising .. not by choice! Why do you always feel better emotionally when you do? Must be the endorphins!

My workout will probably be a step tape today. Yesterday, I did a Cathe Tape and my legs are blissfully sore. I also went to Black Belt Class. Yippee!

My fifteen minute project will be working on some web pages and bowling with the menfolk and a niece and nephew later on today.

I am thankful for being allowed to live this long to watch my eldest take his senior pictures. I can't believe I have a teenager on the threshold of graduating high school next spring! Gads!

Latah, darlings!

Good morning!

Today is a rest day. Had an awesome workout last night at the south center. I can't believe how much difference the floor makes. The owners of that center are moving to a new location since this one has a leaky roof, bad air conditioning and basically no air flow. It's even further away from where I live, but I don't care. It sounds really nice and it's in a great new shopping center. So I will be shopping!

Woke up early in a puddle of sweat...thank you perimenopause...and I should have known it would be a painful day right then and there. Got in the shower...both the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. So I head to the closet, dripping all over the place. My oatmeal boiled over in the microwave. I left a nectarine in my lunchbag overnight and it got moldy and gross so I had to wash the bag. Took the dogs out and they just HAD to roam all over the county. I spent any extra time I might have had by getting up early chasing them down and getting them back in the house. By then, the previously mentioned oatmeal was not only all over the microwave, but it was also getting cold. So I wolfed that down and headed out the door. Got in the car and realized I'd forgotten my pills. Went back upstairs and took them. Got back in the car and realized I'd forgotten to feed the dogs...no wonder they were so antzy while I was there...went back up and fed the dogs. Got back to the car and realized I was out of Advil at work and that would never do. Went back upstairs and got the Advil out of the bathroom. Got back to the car and I was finally, blissfully on my way. Halfway to work I realized I'd forgotten my day planner.

I think I've had my workout for the day.

My 15-minute project today is to make my menus for next week and get that planning done.

I'm thankful for Advil, my dogs, and a hot shower in the morning.

I'm feeling better than I have in a long time. Today must be the day I get off my butt and start exercising again in addition to the mowing, etc.

I'm thankful that my friend from MD left a demo sleep system with me. I've slept on it the last two nights, and when I've gotten up the last two days, I move normally instead of like a little old, creaky woman. My neck is feeling better than it has in quite a while, and the numbness is getting less in my fingers. After 6 months of pain in varying degrees, I can't tell you what a relief that is.

I feel I need to do everything I can today to make the best use of this time I'm given.

Good Morning Everyone,

Decided this morning I was going to start my day off right with a visit to the board. I've noticed a trend over the past two weeks while being off of work. If I visit the board early in the day I find I exercise that day. Reading the posts here help me keep fitness at the top of my list.

Today I'm keeping our grandson Brock so I'm not sure when I'll fit in exercise but most likely it will be in the evening. Think I'll head to the Y for some "me" time.

It's going to be 100 here today but that is the norm for Texas in July.

BTW...Lori, Sorry to hear that your day started out so bumpy but I've got to tell you...You gave me a chuckle becuase I've been experiencing so much forgetfullness lately it's not funny. It's nice to know we are all in this boat together!

Did my run this morning, now getting ready for playgroup while Allison is at cheerleader day camp. Might try to do UB and abs, especially since I ended up not working out yesterday.

Thinkin' Thursday's Gonna Be A Marathon....

Lots to do today - two major deadlines, three major documents that need to get into layout/production mode but are still moving targets with on-going reviews, and no intern to do my grunt work for me. I think lunch will be a mirage today....so I'll imagine a lovely grilled sea bass, asparagus with Hollandaise, and twice-baked potato with a fragrant white wine; yeah, why not, tiramisu for dessert (I'm imagining, not eating!)....

Workout tonight - late, I suspect - will be 30 minutes on treadmill and 15 minutes of exercycle. May try a couple of running 1-minute intervals on the tread.

15-minute task - no time for them today....

Have a great day, everyone!
