Good morning...up early to beat the heat for a run on the treadmill. Yesterday got up to 102. Today won't be nearly so hot...around 85. It;s time for another mailing so I'll work on that this afternoon.
What are your plans for the day?
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
(James 2:26 NIV)
Stay cool and like the old song...don't worry be happy!

Family will be here around 12. Then it's off to find those new pants.

Have to work 'till 9:30 pm but I do get tomorrow off! YAY! My house is so clean, well, that just makes it even better! Tomorrow will be a day of church, some kind of workout and I may take in a movie.
Have a splendid Saturday lovely ladies!
P.S. Phyllis - I didn't mention my back hurting to my doctor's office, but the pain has gone away (hopefully for good). However, it is a mole that has grown some I've noticed, although it doesn't look irregular. I just get paranoid about those things since I've had skin cancer before. I put sunblock on religiously! Thanks for asking about me.
Haven't been posting much this week-we'll just say it's been a real difficult week for me in a lot of different ways.
But the sun is shining the temperature is just right with no humidity and got out for a 5 mile walk this morning and after a week of no activity it really did feel good. I need to restore some order to the disorder around here and I'm looking forward to a cut and color this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

My niece and her friend aren't coming by today, DH is stilling snoozing, and I've already had my Cheerios/Craisins/walnuts/vanilla soy and a few small slices of watermelon. Drinking my juice as I write.
I'm going to hit the tread for 30-45 minutes, then try to sweet-talk DH into heading for Cape Cod early this afternoon. If we go, we'll just toot along Route 6A enjoying the sights, pop into a few of the fun shops along the way, and stop for dinner on our way home at our favorite place in Yarmouthport - Oliver's. Any Bay Staters or New Englanders familiar with it? It's a fun place with great food that they serve in 1/2-portions to suit the appetites of so many of their regulars, who are retirees who live on the Cape year-round.
Have a great day, everyone! Very overcast here, and supposed to be muggy later and foggy along the shore line.
