Good morning...up early to beat the heat for a run on the treadmill. Yesterday got up to 102. Today won't be nearly so hot...around 85. It;s time for another mailing so I'll work on that this afternoon.

What are your plans for the day?

Andrew and I are going to do Leslie Sansone's 2 mile walk and 10 minutes of abs.

Family will be here around 12. Then it's off to find those new pants.

Will go for my run as soon as my doughnut digests! Boy, this week's workouts have fallen by the wayside. I've managed to keep in my running, but not my off-days workouts or my abs work. Last night... our Friday night take out was burgers and fries from Wendy's. We indulged with gusto. It's been a long week, with me battling congestion, my car dying then getting broken into, and the subsequent repairs interfering with (possibly canceling) our plans to go to MIL's. So anyway, I need to run today and *will* get in my abs work.

Where's the groggy icon? I guess I'll be dazed and confused this a.m. Drinking coffee & hoping that will help me feel better. Still have a sore throat - must be sinuses. Then it's off to the fitness club for 5 miles.

Have to work 'till 9:30 pm but I do get tomorrow off! YAY! My house is so clean, well, that just makes it even better! Tomorrow will be a day of church, some kind of workout and I may take in a movie.

Have a splendid Saturday lovely ladies!

P.S. Phyllis - I didn't mention my back hurting to my doctor's office, but the pain has gone away (hopefully for good). However, it is a mole that has grown some I've noticed, although it doesn't look irregular. I just get paranoid about those things since I've had skin cancer before. I put sunblock on religiously! Thanks for asking about me.

Todays the day! Chop chop chop....off goes the hair! I can hardly wait! That doesn't happen till 1 this afternoon. This morning I will wash clothes, clean bathrooms, do abs, lunges(with weights and on the stairs ;-), squats, and weights. I'm sure I won't get all this done this morning so whatever needs to be finished will get done this afternoon. Have a wonderful day ladies!

Your hair will look so pretty, I know, Tweety! I love your do, now, but you will look fab with something like that Prevention cover do. Believe it or not, I saw another picture of a cut, even shorter than what I have, and I want to try it next! I can't believe I love my short hair! I, who insisted that I would never have short hair because I don't look good with it. Just goes to show how some changes are beneficial if only we will take the plunge. Hope to see a picture of your new hairstyle. I need to get someone at work to snap me before my hair grows too much.

Good Morning,

Haven't been posting much this week-we'll just say it's been a real difficult week for me in a lot of different ways.

But the sun is shining the temperature is just right with no humidity and got out for a 5 mile walk this morning and after a week of no activity it really did feel good. I need to restore some order to the disorder around here and I'm looking forward to a cut and color this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning!

My niece and her friend aren't coming by today, DH is stilling snoozing, and I've already had my Cheerios/Craisins/walnuts/vanilla soy and a few small slices of watermelon. Drinking my juice as I write.

I'm going to hit the tread for 30-45 minutes, then try to sweet-talk DH into heading for Cape Cod early this afternoon. If we go, we'll just toot along Route 6A enjoying the sights, pop into a few of the fun shops along the way, and stop for dinner on our way home at our favorite place in Yarmouthport - Oliver's. Any Bay Staters or New Englanders familiar with it? It's a fun place with great food that they serve in 1/2-portions to suit the appetites of so many of their regulars, who are retirees who live on the Cape year-round.

Have a great day, everyone! Very overcast here, and supposed to be muggy later and foggy along the shore line.

I'll be with you in spirit, Donna! I've been reading about 6A and will have to check out Oliver's. Hope your plans come to fruition. Sounds like my kind of weekend & as much as you've been working this week, you sure deserve a nice weekend. You'll have to post the details later.

Susan, so sorry you're week has been difficult! Hope you have a nice weekend and get some R&R. How is your ankle? Cut & color sounds good.

Great job on the 5 miler - now I better get out there to get mine done!
