Working out today, that is.It is so beautiful here today.I have a dozen things to do in CL and I need to get some groceries. I would also like to get a walk in but I am lazzzzzy today. The hammock is calling me and I may push everything off an hour and just head to it.

So what's everyone else up to?Are you full of energy , lazy like me or somewhere in the middle.

It's raining here, so no beach today. Water was cold yesterday. I've never felt it so cold this late in the summer. It was only 74, and it was 80 the week before. Some weird current thing going on.

I'm sort of working on some recipes for two contests. One is for a healthy food, preferably using baked beans, blueberries, almonds, or Sunmaid raisins. The other is using a barley leaf product called Jade GreenZymes, referred to as "the perfect food." Making a list of things I need at the store for several possibilities.

Also, doing some laundry and general cleaning, but I'm feeling very lazy with no sun in sight. Enjoy your hammock and the rest of your day!

Have to say I'm somewhere in the middle. I was full of energy this AM down in the laundry room trying to find the floor which I think I successfully did. Threw out some stuff that I have no idea why it was still hanging around, got on Quick books and looked at what needed to be paid and technically they're paid except for me writing out the checks. Got my fingernails and pigges painted and even my eyebrows waxed. Then I decided to make a run to the card store so all my cards are in the house to be mailed out for various occasions-it was a good thought however never made a list and of course came home a few short-but it was a good try! As for the rest of the day well think that's where the lazy side is kicking in-I think a certain outside chair is calling my name along with a book or magazine-we'll see-will the energy continue or is it off to be lazy-as for a workout well not sure about that either-let you know later!

Normally I take a break on Sunday, but since I'd been slack this week, I ran and did abs today. I decided to run on the hilly side of the n'hood for a change, shorter at 2.8 miles rather than 3.5, but I ran the whole thing except for my usual 1/10th warm up & 2/10ths cool down.

We're still without my car - the part that came in was defective (not the garage's fault), and since we didn't go out of town as planned, we didn't rent a car. No sense in spending MIL's money if we don't need to. It'll be ... different... this upcoming week without a car for a few days, but I don't have anything super important on the calendar, and heck, I grew up in a single car household. I should be able to handle this without cracking ;^).

Well . . . just got home from a brunch cruise (my mom's birthday) with a huge buffet . . . sigh . . . did eat salmon instead of bacon . . . the boat was fabulous, the weather perfect, the Lake gorgeous, the breeze delicious - a wonderful time had by all.

Anyway - I will be riding my bike 10 miles into the city for a staged reading of a new play - that will be my workout.

Hope you all are well,

Dee
