Later this morning I'll come home and do my own personal spin class. I'm really into the cardio lately. And another book...The Maffetone Method. Some of you that are reading "Slow Burn" might recall Stu talking about Phil Maffetone in his book. That's my current read. Pretty good so far.

What is your workout today?

Thankful Thursday~~~What are you thankful for?

***Days are starting to get shorter. Its made nights a little more bearable and brings Fall that much closer.

15 minute project?

***A little longer than 15 minutes but vacuum and 1 bathroom.

Have a great day all!

I'm getting ready to go play with (and sample)fruit for 4 hours.

For my workout I will do a video or 30 minutes on the bike. UB and abs.

Today I'm thankful that Jeremy's rough day yesterday did not turn into a rough night.

15 minute project - update my DH resume.

Already ran this morning, probably 2.8 to 3.0 miles. I picked up the speed a few times during my run, and it was humid and 75-degrees, plus DH left a little earlier since someone was picking him up today, so I lopped a little distance off. I'll do my abs here shortly. Can't seem to pull away from sweet snacking right now, so I *need* these burns!

Got my car back surprisingly last night. Turned out to be more expensive than the $400 for the new distributor, for the main board on the car's computer was fried and had to be replaced. No way of knowing if the computer went first and messed up the distributor or if the original or defective replacement distributor messed up the computer. Garage charged us just a single hour of labor, and she's running better than she has in about two years. Now we're waiting on the glass people. National company (our first mistake), and they have not been keeping us informed of the progress. As of this morning when we called, it looks like a replacement window was found in New York and was shipped out Tuesday. They're saying "7 days"? Puh-leeze. We're trying to get them to tell us where it is and give us a better estimate. It seems to us that it should be in today or tomorrow.

Might try to vacuum later today, after playgroup.

It is time for me to get back to working out. I haven't done one for a couple of weeks now and I have to get back into the habit before "not working out becomes a habit". I will either do cardio or weights tonight after work. Thankfully I'm home this evening.

My 15 minute project.....well, I have a room full of decorations and I need to start going through those but it will take much more than 15 minutes....Maybe I'll just do 15 minutes an evening till it's done.....naaah....I want to get the mess cleaned up. I'll probably tackle that tomorrow.

Not sure what I will do for exercise today. Probably a bike ride tonite after work or a nice long walk. Need to get in weights sometime tonite too. This is my last day for the week so I'm feeling pretty darn good today. I think I could get use to this! Wish it wasn't just for the summer. Have a great day all.....tweets

Good Morning,

Got in a 3.3 mile walk this morning. It is a beautiful day here with bright blue skies and the humidity has temporarily lifted.

Very thankful this morning that DH still has his job intact and only 2 more working days until vacation week.

15 minute project-empty the ever growing laundry chute and sort the clothes.

Hope you all enjoy your day!

Good morning -

DH agreed to come into the big, bad city to meet me for dinner tonight. If the Copley Square summer music program is on (used to be Thursday evenings), we'll hang around for that for a while to digest after dinner. Will try for a 1/2-hr tread/bike combo when I get home.

Thankful for - a quiet week, cool breezes, and no humidity for a change.

Have a great day, everyone!

Just posted my day before but its not much compared to you other ladies. I am heading out the door for a walk, not sure how far I go. It takes about 35 minutes. Back home and maybe add some crunches. Hey why not!

My 15 minute project today will be to clean the bathrooms before my company comes back. Boys are just gross, aren't they? I just did the toilets on Monday!

What I am I thankful for? I know I complain about my kids but when I get to see them compared to others (my sister-in-laws for example) I realize they are not so bad. They are well behaved and respectful to me and others. So I am thankful for them and how they are turning out so far. I think hubby and I are doing something right, so far. Lets just hope we continue!

My workout today is a serious power-lounge with da bears this evening. After 4 Jazz classes in 2 days, I think I get a day off. My current reading material has been kind of spiritual in nature. I've been reading a primer on Buddhism and it's very interesting.

Today I'm thankful for good friends and large dogs...they both love you, but only one is allowed to lick your face.

15-minute project? Too hot to do anything outside so I guess I'll make up that menu for next week and a grocery list to go along with it. They're callin' for 101F today with a heat index up to 115F. Man, ya gotta love summer, huh?

Have a great day!

We talked about emotional eating yesterday in Booty's posts. And I had a lightbulb moment when I realized Eric's reacting to my sadness by bringing me ...FOOD. So food is for celebration, for binging, for bringing me out of being blue. No wonder I have food issues. He walked in the door with six Krispy Kreme donuts, three "IT's A GIRL" solid chocolate cigars from See's so I can feel like I'm there with Erin and Mc, and a box of See's candy to celebrate. I asked PLEASE HIDE THE CANDY. Please. I said did you hide the candy--he said what candy ha ha. He did cut up one of the donuts so I can have a bite. LADIES...it's a Key Lime Pie donut and dreamy..yummy. One bite is enough. I put a towel over the rest of the donuts but I think they should go in the freezer. Then I thought I never have a problem eating solidly frozen cookies or donuts either. GEEZ.

This morning I'll head to a 50 min personal training session with weights, then low impact Jazzercise. Going to have our chariot washed so I'll feel like I'm going to prom with my neato date Eric tomorrow :o). After that..the usual errands, then do some work at home for the Heart Assoc---then leave for the zoo. Eric's taking my friends out to dinner after bless his heart.

Thankful Thursday~~~What are you thankful for?

***That my sister had her baby and baby is healthy and sis I hope will feel better soon.

15 minute project?

***Set up the auction. Meeting my friends (and Eric said he'd be there whoopeee) at 330pm today at the zoo in the new Seahorse Exhibit. Fingers crossed that our auction items are there as the Zoo Society promised, that the tables are set out how my friend designed the room (she put ALOT of planning into this), and that the linens and cool decorating things are there. We plan to set up as much as possible with bid sheets and descriptors, tomorrow the rest of the things should be set out (the $$$$$$ stuff). Fingers crossed and prayers that this all comes together!
