Thurs Afternoon---how did your plan go??

Well---life is just a big box of chocolates isn't it? I had our crew set to go (pros I might add !!) to meet today at the zoo and leisurely take our time to set up the auction. Zoo coordinator phones and says gulp, catering booked a 200 person party in the room we're setting up in from 5-10pm tonight. The event's tomorrow! Shake head (trying not to shake body). Zoo said she came up with a plan before calling--she's hiring a crew to come in at 11pm and work til the wee hours of the morning to rectify the situation.

Ok---ok-----no problem. I'm definitely taking an Excederin PM to get a full night's sleep tonight. Fingers crossed that bid sheets will be with the right items, tables set up, items actually there tomorrow.

Things are out of my control.

On the very good side, I showed new strength at the trainers this morning. I upped my weights on everything and am seeing some new "cut" definitition on my arms. It's amazing..like magic, with a lot of commitment ha ha. After that went and got the car washed as planned and had a heckuva Jazzercise session knowing that I couldn't go to class tonight.

Had scrambled egg whites for lunch with salsa and some cheese. Breakfast was a protein shake with some oj and soy.

One handful of M&M's went I was going to have my auction meltdown. Glad the candy Eric bought is hidden.

We're still meeting at the zoo tonight to go over the "plan" one more time, then Eric's taking us out for dinner.

Deb in a nutshell!

My plan is still solid - DH is en route into the city, we will have dinner, and we will find some other thing to do this evening before rushing home. What to have for dinner is the wild card - we've had fish and chicken all week, he's having Italian at a luncheon tomorrow, and the only other choices he'll probably be interested in are Tex-Mex or steaks/chops. I'm thinking upscale Tex/Mex, with leftovers.

Still plan 1/2-hr intervals and sprints on tread/exercycle.

Princess! Now I'm going to have to buy some baked chips - your trailmix post really got me & I've been nibbling a homemade concoction (yes, M&M's are in it too, thanks alot!) for a week!

Hope you're headache free.

Deb - I really hope the auction setup goes well. Careful with that Excedrin - lots of caffeine in there, sounds like the last thing you need.

Have to say that it hasn't been that great of a day. Had my walk this morning-but did you ever have one of those days where the workout just didn't do what you want it to do-just didn't give me that WOW I FEEL GREAT! Just been tired and sluggish all day and been doing a lot of mindless eating today. Had trail mix in the office and that was a real BAD thing! So now I'm home and on the computer and I should be fixing dinner, there's actually a kid who feels that it's dinner time and it should be time to eat-imagine that-but I'm not really hungry after picking all day. So that's the day!

Sorry Kat!!Man the trailmix sounds so healthy but I couldn't believe what a weekend of that did to the number on the scales.Course it didn't help that I ate a jumbo bag all on my own!!

Princess..who needs to learn about serving sizes

Good for you Patty--nothing on the schedule so you achieved it :o)....and even better for not getting into the chips. I feel like I'm in a 12 step program. My name is Debra and this is my 4th full day without crappy processed carbs in my body...! Deb

Thanks Kat! I called a good friend I used to work with who listened well--he gave me some good advice, nothing I can do about tonight. Not going to fret, hope for the best, tomorrow is a new day. Deb
