Good morning-

Why is it that on the days we can sleep in, we wake up early and on the days we have to get up early, we can't get out of bed?

I have no idea what I'm going to do today but I don't want to waste the day away sitting around the house. It will be too hot to do much of anything outside. Suggestions?

I think for today I'll do the bike and treadmill again and watch the movie Overboard. I got it at Target yesterday. Gosh...I've seen that movie so many times and still like it.

What does your day look like?

Any projects?

====Daily Inspirational Word=======

Romans 8

38For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Hope your day is a good one!

Hey -

I know exactly what you mean. I got up at 7:30 this morning, worked out (weights) and had a healthy breakfast and got housework done and then we went shopping and now i'm checking out the board while he naps. It's been in the 90s here and drought, so doing stuph outside in the afternoons is not really wise... So, if I want to workout, I really need to get it in the morning...

1 1/2hours to bike pickup.... ;-)

Anyways -

Hope ya'll have a great day!

Tell me about it! I woke up at 4:00 this morning and tossed around for at least an hour before I gave up and got out of bed. My cold has reached stellar proportions today and it's put me in such a mood.

No workout today. Cardio is out of the question with this cough and when I bend over, my head throbs. Kinda hard to keep my heart rate up if I'm stopping every 2 minutes to blow my nose. Ok, so enough with the whining.

It's already humid as heck out there, couldn't get da bears interested in more than a quick pee and sniff before they headed back to the AC.

I wish I could get excited about seeing Alex today. I want to go so badly, but this cold and his father are really deterring me. My voice is almost back, but who knows how long that will last. There I go with the whining again...

So, y'all have a great day now ya hear?

Lori

Good morning. House is empty, hubby took dd with him to get mulch for our garden. Older son is at the shop working on his car, and middle son is out back cutting the lawn. I am going upstairs in a minute to wash up, and put my shorts on and head over to Curves. I am going to walk over which is about 3/4 of a mile (one way). After I need to get into the garden and weed.

Plans for the day are mild after weeding the garden. Tonight going over to some of hubby's family for a kids 6th birthday party. My kids will go swimming and I will shoot the breeze with the family while trying hard to behave, food wise. Wish me luck!

Good Saturday Morning,

Much nicer day than yesterday, thunderstorms kept rolling through last night bringing the temperature and humidity down which made it a perfect day for my 4.8 mile walk. Got Otto up to the vet for his bath appointment-have given up trying to do it at home & boy does he hate going there! Perfect day for cleaning out the science projects out of the refrigerator and scrubbing it out without Otto big furry head investigating and the usual cleaning and laundry. We have a surprise 50th birthday party for a friend of ours this evening.

That's my day hope you enjoy yours!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I woke up late and have to go to work soon. I plan to go to the fitness club to do a long powerwalk this p.m. after work.

Phyllis, I loved the movie "Overboard", too! I just finished watching "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" last night and Goldie's daughter is so much like her! It was a funny movie. I loved the part where she made a photo album of what their kids would look like - the look on Matthew McConaughey's face was priceless!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Susan, are you anywhere near Echo Lake Camp? That is where my ds is counseling. When you mentioned the cooling down I was just wondering if he was having the same type of temps.

I went to bed early and finally made up some Z's from yesterdays early awaking! Yes, its true Phyllis, I have a heck of a time getting out of bed during the week for work but weekends I awake early, bright eyed, and ready to go! Go figure!

This morning when I get done posting here, I'm heading up to the workout room to do some weights, abs, lunges, and squats. Then hit the shower! The rest of my day is to be easy and relaxing. My sister is coming this morning and tonite after church her, dh, and I are heading out to the Heritagefest (http://www.heritagefest.net/ incase you'd want to check out what I'm talking about) and I'm going to be "naughty". I'm going to eat a brat smothered in sauerkraut and drink some Schell's beer(thats a beer made here in our hometown for many many many years.....one you have to grow accustom to....I drink the light cause its more tollerable ;-) and I'm going kick up my heels and have a good ole german good time! Have a great day ladies!

Forgot to mention....we have the bikers from the "Big Ride Across America" camping here this weekend. I guess they plan it everytime so they can be here during Heritagefest. They are camping out in one of the school park areas. This is so cool! Wish I could be one of them!
