It was good to "see" you all at chat last night.
Correction on Rhonda's street-Where it says "Sandy" it should just be Sand.
What's going on in your life today? Today my 15 minute project is to pay bills. And my thankful is that I have the money to pay for them. I can't eat until the 15th but I can pay my bills :-)
Have a fabulous day!
The Holy Spirit’s Power
John 16:5-15
Jesus told His disciples, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to it has not been granted” (Matthew 13:11). As Christ followers, we also have been given the privilege to know the revealed truths of Scripture.
Do you ever feel, however, that other Christians know a secret you don’t know? Do you ever have the sense that they have solved the mystery of how to rejoice in suffering, to forgive the unforgivable, to conquer sin, or to live a life of love in ways you have not?
Draw near and listen. Bend your ear close to hear; open your eyes to see the truth. The secret to living the Christian life is to become best friends with the Holy Spirit. He has all the qualities of a best friend—someone who helps us make the right decisions (John 16:13), someone we can lean on (John 14:17); (Isaiah 11:2), and one with whom we can share our deepest feelings. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Holy Spirit offers us much more besides. He loves us, protects us, and prays for us; He works in us and through us with divine power, and He helps us become like Jesus.
God’s Holy Spirit is a person whom we can know intimately and who has our best interests at heart. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you through the Scriptures, and then be prepared to have a friend unlike any earthly companion—a friend who is with you constantly, who whispers to you of your heavenly Father’s mercy and your Savior’s love.

Grocery store run is on agenda, too. Some cleaning up around here needs to happen, also.
I am thankful for all of the blessings God has given me. Vacation days work wonders for me!
I am hitting the antique stores today & later (gosh I'm a sucker for this kid!) will take ds back to the lake so he can fish & I can get in a good hike. Wearing skimpy shorts & top & lots of sunblock.
Have an exhilarating day, everyone!
Feeling a little discouraged because last few days headches have increased.I swear what we women have to put up with thanks to hormones!!!I'd be such a normal well balanced person if it weren't for my estrogen.
Today I'm thankful for some time off and my sister to enjoy it with.

I'm thankful that my new boss is a guy who belives in having an excellent staff and paying them excellent wages (haven't seen my comp package yet...but I know he's looking out for me).
15 minute project...a couple loads of laundry throughout the day.
Love you guys.

I awoke with a headache this morning. I am thinking it is because I walked through combining wheat chaff and dust last night on my walk. I was going by on the road where dh was unloading grain into the semi and the wind blew the dust my way. I'm hoping that is it because some tylenol sinus will probably take care of that. If it is Flo coming early it won't.
I'm thankful for good harvest weather. I am wishing for rain, though. Things are really getting dry here.
My 15 minute project....pictures.

I'll get two workouts today. I'll do the T-Tapp Basic Plus, and I'll be doing several hours of shrubbery trimming at my sister's house to give her place a new look. Oh, I'll get a 3rd one too by swimming. Guess I'll need to get at it early, because it started thundering by noon yesterday, and it's overcast this AM.
Hope all you ladies with headaches and Aunt Flo knocking at your door will feel better soon.
I'm thankful that my 3-legged cat, Meeces (who had blood in his urine), seems to have only an infection instead of a blockage.

Chat was awesome last night. Wish I could get to it more often. I might just have to rearrange my schedule for you ladies.
Today is step class. Feeling pretty good this morning with no leg or foot pain (yet). I'm actually feeling kind of fortunate. I spoke with one of my Jazz instructors last night and she's out with some serious tendinitis in her heel, foot, ankle and achilles. She said she might wind up with surgery...yikes! Poor thing has been teaching 10-12 classes in a week for a couple months now. That can't be healthy. Yes, I've learned my lesson and I'm not going there. I'll be good.
Today's 15 minute project is to start straightening up the house. DS is "probably" coming over saturday to hang out. I've talked with him several times on the phone in the last couple weeks. I'm psyched. I still have some misgivings, but I think that may pass in time. I'm hopeful.
Have a great day everyone!

Hey, I'm thankful that we have the ability to get together, even if it's a year off. I'm thankful that we had another great visit with BIL and his family. Thankful that the one package from eBay that seemed to be taking forever to get the recipient finally made it. Thankful for a loving husband and his wonderful mother, and a daughter who takes after them both.
It's all drizzly here today - that wasn't supposed to happen. BIL and family are on their way home, God grant them a safe trip. We may just do local stuff, hopefully I'll get some swimming in today. After pizza last night, I *definitely* want to do abs today!
No scheduled 15-minute project, just help around MIL's house when I sense something is needed.

I wish this weather would last. It's perfect this week so far, but weekend is not looking promising.
Tonight I'll do 45 min tread/cycle.
This is going to be a tough eating stretch for me. I seem to make lunch and dinner plans with friends all at once. Today, lunch out with one of the women at work who NEVER, EVER gets out because she's the big boss's EA and she is at his beck and call all the time. He's on vacation this week, so she's getting a little break. We're going to the local fish specialty place. Tonight I'm meeting the fitness fiend for dinner for her birthday next week - she'll keep me in line, I hope. Tomorrow, Chinatown with a group of people in the office who try to get together every few months, but have to be careful about watching the clock. This weekend, DH and I are celebrating his 50th birthday - nice dinner and jazz at a nearby inn, and a gathering for cake/ice cream/dessert spread at his parents' house for the family Sunday; I'm going to see if my MIL can get in touch with DH's old tennis partner and his wife for a surprise - we haven't seen them in years, and I think MIL knows how to get in touch with them. Then Monday, lunch with the skater friend to celebrate her birthday. Please make sure I check in every evening with my workout results - I know I'm facing a challenge.
Thankful that DH and I found each other.
Thankful for having friends to spend time with, but we need to find something else to do besides eat!
Thankful for sunny, breezy summer days.
Since Lori hasn't wished us a goo day recently, I will!
