Have you been able to work out as planned? Did something interrupt your schedule? How is your eating? Making good choices?

It's so cool here now!! Yippeeeee Seattle has cooled down. We do not like hot weather!!

My personal training session went good but it's hard :o). Worked on chest, bi's and back today--with some ab work thrown in for fun. Then I did my grocery shopping and bought a $9 watermelon! It was a seedless, and I've been craving watermelon, I had no idea how much this thing weighed. I told the guy it better be delicious--he said they have been, but to take it back if I wasn't satisfied.

LOL..I'm sure I'll eat it no problemo.

Got home, showered and changed, made some phone calls and headed to the mall. Got a nice purse, two different possible jewelry scenarios (will take one or both back), and a few different pairs of control top pantyhose. I wanted the controliest control ones. I'll post a review if they work out.

I wanted to some kind of huge food place at the mall. You know something like Teriyaki where they pile it up so high you can't lift your plate? Bought Eric some Fancy Mixed Nuts from See's (his fav, I'll leave them on his pillow when I leave for CA), and I got a bite of their peanut brittle. YUMMMMMMMM.

Got home, had scrambled egg whites with minced ham (Healthy Choice) salsa and some shredded cheese.

I've got to do some house stuff or I may get fired here.

Let me know how your day is going for you!

Hey Deb. You are such a busy, busy girl! Definitely let me know about the pantyhose.

I had an awesome workout. Major SLOW BURN cardio...it was empowering. Did abs and back. Ran out of time for the biceps and triceps. Still trying to figure out the new Smith weight machine. Still liking my free weights best for most things. Goofing around with the machine took too much time.

Worked the rest of the day. Got home around 6:00. Off for the weekend.

C ya.

Sassy

P.S. I adore See's candy...we only get it out here during Christmas and Easter. Of course I could always order it and have it shipped, but then it wouldn't be such a special treat (or an excuse to eat a box in a couple days :)

My eating was better today - no Whoppers! I did go back to the Cracker Barrel, but had a modest breakfast & couldn't finish it. Had fun browsing the gift shop. On the way back, I passed all kinds of country flea markets and vegetable/fruit stands, but none were open that early. Went to downtown Gladewater to the antique stores and walked & walked. Found a beautiful import shop - the owner travels to Europe, India, Egypt, Japan, etc. I bought a jewelled picture frame (looks Indian). She buys all kinds of furniture, art, knicknacks and even windows and doors from those exotic places. I could just shop for days in her store! Thought about Anna while I was in there & wondered about all of the beautiful shops she has ventured upon in her travels.

Then we went back to the lake and I hiked around it and back. Maybe 6 miles total for the day. I am just a big sweat factory. I bought a lovely straw hat - every Southern lady needs one, of course, so I wore it to the lake. DS rolled his eyes!

Phyllis, my ds loves fishing so much that he has to watch fishing videos and wants to "chum" for catfish. It sounds gross & I have even heard that chum smells gross. Boys and their toys!

Yes---I bought Donna Karan, hers went up highest like a power panty girdle thing, Spanxx just came out with new control top panty hose....and I got some Silk Reflection Hanes. We shall see. AND I bought some pantyhose GLOVES!

Do you like mixed nuts??? See's has the very best ever. I can't give them to Eric now cos he'll know I've been to the mall, I was too lazy to pick up his new suit from the Nordstrom's sale.

One scary thing, I carry a super small purse, long straps, just enough for a wallet, left See's and the thing had turned upside down...panicked checking money and credit cards, all seemed to be there. What a klutz!

I got the dwarf hollys reshaped at my sister's -- large accomplishment. Was there from before 10 until 3. Except for a cool-off break in the pool and taking my niece to Taco Bell for lunch, the rest was UB and lower back (ow!) workout. They do look so much better (the shrubs).

Still have to get in my T-Tapp Basic Plus workout. I was a stinky mess when I got home, so I had to get my bath and hair washing out-of-the-way first thing. Rob doesn't know it yet, but I'm getting ready to hunt for him to grill out chicken for us. That's what he gets for being good at it.

Speaking of being good at it, he is really improving on the guitar. Last night he was teaching himself the solo part of "Stairway to Heaven" from music he got off the internet, and he was very good!! Some of his friends came over to jam today, although it sounded to me as though each was playing a different song at the same time. LOL!

Donna Karan and Givenchy are my favorite really dressy pantyhose. I've never tried the power panty type ones, but the stockings themselves come in such pretty shades with some very subtle sheen.

What makes See's mixed nuts so good? Do they have a coating or something different? I love all kinds of nuts, especially the Swedish ones we make at Christmas.

What are pantyhose gloves?

I love the Hanes silk reflections. They are what I've been wearing lately. But always looking for some comfy (major controlling) hose!

You're not a klutz! That can happen to anyone. Hope you found everything!

I adore mixed nuts. I'll have to check them out....

Mine hasn't gone really well. I worked an extra hour today to fill in for someone which was fine. Helped dh for a bit outside which was fine. Haven't done any workout, though, which is not fine. Just don't have the energy. My headache has been stubborn and annoying all day long and I just cannot make myself work out. Sooooo....

One of the necklaces I bought was Givenchy! We shall have the girls help me pick night of reunion. Glad to her good things about Donna Karan pantyhose..just hope those little pantyhose gloves do the trick and I don't put a hole in them, that's why I have my back ups :o).

The nuts are just good, perfect halves of walnuts and pecans which are my favs, luckily Eric favors the macadamia and almonds--sounds like I need to send a can your way :o).

What are pantyhose gloves? --> they were on sale, a couple of bucks, supposed to put on your hands before you put on pantyhose and it helps not run them. Think it will work?

Yes--I like the Hanes Silk Reflections too---but I was after control, the dress is going to show every nook and cranny! :o)

Sounds like I need to send YOU a can too (of nuts)!
