***Super Saturday Post*****

I have no idea what I'm going to do today. I only have one client today and that's first thing in the morning. I have a whole "to do" list but...I want to do something fun. Maybe a short trail run before it gets hot. I've been doing a lot of that but Sheba hasn't gotten to go so maybe...this will be her day. What do you do that doesn't cost any money (or much) and is a fun thing to do on the weekends?

Hope you have a Super Saturday!

Good morning!I'm coming up on my last 10 days or so of this flock so I need to work and focus on CL.Heading out now to do some work. Then I'm off for a walk with my sister. She has been so busy with the new job we haven't gotten much walking in lately. She called me yesterday and said she needs to walk today because she is having "issues".Told me to be prepared for a workout!!!Hopefully later I'll do some weights also.

They are calling for chance of rain everyday thru Thursday with below normal temps.I'll try to keep the whining to a minimum.

The day is starting out nice and cool. I will either walk or ride my bike right away this morning while it is cool. I have to help the guys move semi's and the service truck to the field this morning. That will take up part of the morning so I need to get my exercise in right away.

I am going to put down chicken wire around one of my flower beds that the deer think is a buffet table. They have really done a lot of damage. I was 'told' that if I lay the chicken wire down on the ground all around the flower bed, that the deer don't like to walk on it and it will keep them away. It will be a real pain in the b**t because I'll have to move it off and on when I need to mow there. I am thinking I can mow a couple of times over it and then will have to move it. We'll see ..... The deer have completely eaten my hens and chicks, my blue bells, two different types of sedem, my petunias, my baby's breath and a couple of more kinds that don't come into my brain at the moment. I'm rather 'ticked' right now. So that is on my agenda for the day.

And we're leaving at 1pm to go to a wedding tonight. My nephew is getting married and the reception is tonight. Actually, they got married about a month ago....had a justice of the peace marry them down by the river. My mom said it was beautiful. Only parents and grandparents invited to it. Tonight is a big reception, I guess. We'll go and stay overnight. DD and her husband are coming, too. We'll get to see them. Fun!!

We're in the middle of wheat harvest here and dh is even coming along. We have one hired man that works for us 'off and on' and found another man to run the combine today and tomorrow. This will be a first....we've NEVER taken off like this during harvest time! We'll see if dh can stay sane!

Everyone have a good weekend.

Packing to return home. Don't get me wrong, I love my home, but it's always hard leaving MIL and the mountains. We've spent a week here, and could easily stay longer if it weren't for obligations where we live. We've had a ton of rain here in the last few days, but maybe it'll clear up for a while today so we can get in one last session of swimming.

Here I am at work. :-(

But my boss is in Texas! :-)

So I'm working (or will be soon) till about 1pm or so then off to step/circuit class. Then I have to get my hair cut for crying out loud! It's starting to get behind my glasses and in my eyes and flipping out in the back. Driving me nuts. Then, if the planets all line up just right, I might get to go to the grocery store! All in my sweaty workout clothes because I forgot to bring clean clothes to change into after class. Your hike with the Queen sounds good.

Fun free/cheap stuff to do on the weekends? I like to go to the park with my granddaughter if the weather is good. She DOES NOT like to sweat. She's only 2 1/2, but she has a blast. Then there is always a little chat over coffee and soda at the coffee shop with DH. Mostly talks about EverQuest, but hey it's quality time...LoL. Then I take the dogs for a walk and watch Sadie hunt for mice. She almost caught a little tiny baby bunny the other day. I nearly crapped. The poor little thing was screaming, but I caught it before she did. Sadie has this habit of catching mice and fixing the squeak by nibbling on them until they stop squeaking. Jeff says she is just out there trying to fix the mice but she keeps breaking them.

I also love to go window shopping at the mall on the weekends. I don't have any money, but it's still fun to look. Last night we went window shopping at the motorcycle dealership (drool). Found a couple of kickin' bikes that we'd love to get. But, like I said, no money. Jeff has just set his mind on getting a new bike. He's nutty.

Oh my, I've written a book. Off to work now. Have a goo day!

Wish we'd get some rain. Had a little day before yesterday. Could use a little more. Let's swap weather patterns!

Good morning -

Muggy overcast day here today. Forecast through next Thursday is not promising - lots of rain and mugginess. And wet feet. And really bad hair. Ugh.

Workout today will either be 45 min cardio, or my day off. DH and I are going to dinner and to hear jazz at a lovely inn a couple of towns over for his birthday. I got a preview of the menu, and since they're not featuring duck or venison yet, looks like red snapper for me. Sounds noble, right? HA! There's a deadly chocolate pecan bread pudding on the dessert menu, and I'm goin' for it!

What do we do on weekends that fun and free? Slim pickins around here. If there are craft or agricultural festivals going on, we'll head out for one of those; usually there's a small admissions fee. There's a great aggie fair going on today, but it'll be a rainy, buggy washout. Training camp for the Patriots is going on, and that can be fun - and it's free. Otherwise, watching old movies or HGTV or TLC on cable.

Going to get my Cheerios/walnuts/Craisins/vanilla soy soon. Have a great day, everyone!

Thanks for the goo day wish, Lori! I needed that! Have to work all weekend! Oh brother!

Full body workout with weights today, plus abs. AF is mean! I hate her! She is giving me a headache, backache & cramps! Ok, now that that's out of my system . . .

Lori, you just about covered the free & inexpensive stuff. I go exploring, too, when I don't have alot of dinero to spend. Window shopping, park & trail exploring, town exploring, hobby & art exploring, book reading at bookstores & library, even sometimes go catch the $2.00 movie with no indulgence in popcorn! Times when funds are low, I wish I still had my bike to go out & explore on (& to save on the gas). Love to go crash the country flea markets & bazaars. I also love going to small town fairs & festivals.

Enjoy the day & Ta Ta,

Kat

How could I forget spending the day with my niece and nephew?! Best time of all. The only cost is two cones of chocolate chip ice cream, and it's the best investment I'll ever make. My BP is probably lower after a day with them than in the middle of my REM sleep.

Good Morning to one and all,

I finally got to sleep last night but not before Otto decided that he needed to do his business at 2AM and see if anyone else in the neighborhood was up. DH decided to wake me up at 8 to tell me breakfast was ready-guess I should be grateful for a husband that cooks Saturday morning breakfast but a little more time under the covers really seemed more appropriate this morning. It's now almost 10:30 and here I sit in my PJ's drinking a bottle of water with absolutely no desire to do anything. It's damp, rainy and VERY Humid here which lessens the desire to do anything. Think I'll stick to some laundry and well I just don't know!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Susan
