You mentioned in a post below that you need a solid month of good eating and exercise. So do I. Do you suppose that we can motivate each other? I'm wondering if we should have a 'little challenge' here. Let's exercise a minimum of five days a week during the month of August. And as far as eating well.....I'm not sure how to gauge that with each other. Maybe we can try to have five good eating days a week, too. That will be better than I am doing right now. What do you think? And anyone else that is interested can join us. We can post at night how we did. Are you up for it? Anyone else want to do it?

I'm up for it so long as I can post the next morning. It takes an act of Congress to get the computer in the evening. Great idea.

Nancy you can count me in too. It kind of what I have been doing now with my Curves and walking. The healthy food just started this week. But it sure would be great to do it together!

I agree. It's always easier if you're doing it with someone else! Nancy

Sounds good. Should we start on Monday? Our weeks can go from Monday through Sunday? Or do you all want to start on Sunday?

I am heading out early afternoon for the weekend. (nephew's wedding reception) Will be back tomorrow sometime. If you decide to start tomorrow, just post it here and I'll get moving as soon as I get back. I'll be sure and check right away. Nancy

Patty,

Sounds like a marvelous idea. Do you want to go from M-F; or maybe from T-S and that way we can have one long workout a week; or it could be from S-Th.

Let me know what day we're starting so I can get the healthy food and groceries done in time.

We can post it on the board as "Nancy's Summer Challenge".

Power shop that sounds like a great idea for tomorrow for me. I think we should start our week on Mondays, since its usually when we all start to behave the most. Any other ideas? But I am game for what anyone else wants to do........let me know! And who is in charge? Nancy, it was your idea!!!!!!!

How about having the exercise be 'any five days of the week'? Many times things come up and we cannot exercise five days in a row but we can get the exercise done that week...so it can just be at least 30 minutes of exercise any five days. And it looks like many of you want to start on Monday...that's okay with me. My determination is usually higher on Mondays.

If you want, we can post whether or not we exercised and ate properly that day each night. If you want, I can start the post but sometimes I don't get on as regularly as many of you do. So anyone can start the evening post/question....who made the challenge that day. And all we need to do is make five exercise sessions and five days of eating properly in a week. That gives us a little 'wiggle room' in case we eat out with friends or just are exhausted and don't have the energy to work out. Sound okay?
