...and wake me up. I just got an email from an old friend of mine. My best friend from high school died this last weekend. I haven't seen her in a few years, we travel in different circles now. She was a great friend and was very good to me. I've always missed her company a little, we had so much fun together. I guess I'll miss it even more now. I can't believe how sad this is. She has always been such a strong part of who I am.

'They' don't know what happened. Apparently she was nursing her 7-month old baby when it happened. There's to be an autopsy. She had two daughters from her first marriage. Beautiful little girls. Her first husband killed himself when the girls were only 4 or 5 years old. She finally found someone else to live her dream of a husband and a home with and now this happens. Maybe some people just aren't meant to be happy. She was a good person and had a strong Christian faith. I would like to ask for your prayers for Tanny Stevens and her family. Thank you.

Lori my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. How sad! Years ago when I lost my very best friend at the young age of 19, I was really having a hard time with it all and another good friend described it in a way that really brought comfort to me at that time. She said to think of the world as one big flower garden, God goes in to pick a new flower every day. He's going to choose the one that has fully blossomed. The one that is the most beautiful in every way. The one that will add beauty to His home. What better choice then a wonderful person and friend like yours. God be with you and her family at this time. Hugs, lisa

Dear Lori, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I am sure this is a hard thing to go through and I wanted you to know you, your friend, and her family are in my prayers. Its not up to us to question why things happen. I know its much easier said then done. Again I am sorry for your loss.

Lori - Prayers to Tanny's spirit, and to her family and to you as her friend. What a sad passing. I'm sure she did find happiness, even if for just a short time.

Hugs to you,

How terribly sad. The death of a friend or loved one is always difficult, but even moreso when it's unexpected and when children are involved. I'll add them to my prayers.
