My cat is here eating (or chomping) on plastic shopping bags...any bags he finds so he can get my attn and feed him an early dinner. He is a little manipulator!

So those of you who had exciting plans today---did you do them? How are your workouts going? Any cravings? HOw are you dealing with those? PMS in town today?

Well---of course, anytime vacation is coming, OR my class reunion--who else should make a visit? Why not carry around an extra few lbs of bloat and discomfort??

Went to the circuit training class this am, followed by low impact, and I had to keep it low impact. Something is really bringing on my asthma and it ain't pretty. I was sweating so much and having some difficulty breathing I thought...heart attack? Took a long time to recover but it's just the excercise induced asthma. I feel much better now. My instructor has the same illness and she was having problems too. Any change in the air, huh?

So this am, I did my workouts but I felt weak, much better now.

Breakfast was a small disaster. I had a small bowl (really) of leftover Chinese food. Odd, huh? Just sounded good. Maybe I had a reaction to that? When I go to an Asian place that I love I do get a choking feeling sometimes. An allergy perhaps? Hmmm putting two and two together as I type :o).

Lunch was better, some Healthy Choice ham slices with some provalone rolled up. I then topped lunch off with a low fat fudgesicle. I had to have a sweet before I started going on the hunt for the See's candy.

Funny how we still have candy after two weeks and it was a tiny little 1 lb box kept hidden???

I'd love to hear how your day is going for you----Eric's coming home early, in a few min..so I'm going to start the vacuum and start sweating like I've been doing this for some time LOL!

As the day winds down.........ah! Busy day here after all. Went to Curves and did my 30 minutes then did my stretches and crunches. Ate well and journaled everything. Breakfast was: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 1 cup fresh canteloupe, my morning tea, and a huge water. For my mid-morning snack: 1oz Swiss Cheese. Lunch: small can of tuna with 1 tbsp of mayo, 1/2 sliced cucumber, sliced red peppers, ontop of lettuce. Afternoon snack: 2 hard boiled eggs, and a lite string cheese. Dinner is cooking now.....marinated teriaki chicken on the grill, fresh zucchini steamed in F/F chicken broth, red skin potatoes for the gang, and mushrooms. So today is one really good and healthy day.......now 4 more to go!

PS: Aunt Flo always shows up on my vacations, parties, ect. She decided to appear early this time and showed a week early.

Did great until I got off the phone with DH at 9:00 p.m.

Started off with 1/2 C fiber 1 and sm. carton yogurt for breakfast, banana and tuna/egg salad sandwich w/lots of celery&cucumber and just a tiny bit of dressing for lunch. Did an apple snack 15 3:00 before working out. Supper was three low-fat stuffed shells with vegetarian sauce. 9:00 snack ended up being too many cheese and crackers with a tall gin and tonic.....I woke up feeling bad for trying to fill up that empty space with food, instead of just going to bed and sleeping like I should have.

This whole "change in lifestyle" thing with him going to Germany and me staying in Seoul is not easy. I just hope I can avoid the late evening munchies better. It isn't like I didn't have nutritious stuff in the house - cherries, melon, baby carrots, apples - they just don't satisfy the same way.

You probably already know this, but MSG is used pretty consistently in Chinese food and can really trigger asthma and other lovely reactions... Just a thought...

I did my workout as planned, except I had to cut back on cardio - only did 20 minutes, and felt a little weird after I finished stretching. Light-headed and fuzzy. Thought it best to stop.

Ate a big burger at lunch, with Swiss cheese. A girl's gotta have some fun. Left all the fries, left the whole roll. Ate the tomato and lettuce - aha, that must have been the fun part.

I do need to eat something now. Feeling quite hungry, but it has to be something light; a string cheese stick and some veggies will probably do it.

I'm trying to revamp the schedule to get some exercise back into my life. I still just can't get up in the morning. Walked a little over 2 miles this evening I thought about walking a little further but the humidity is really bad here and some very dark clouds made me decide to come home. I also had a little stroll with Otto. I've had really good eating days and today was another one.

Hey Deb, talk about manipulative pets-how about a dog who greets you at the front door with his tail wagging and running to his food dish waiting to be fed only to hear from one of the kids-I've already fed him! He's gotten me a couple of times! Pretty sneaky!

If I could make a HUGE blushing face, I would. And I am feeling like it is a huge blushing face. Here I talked "so big" yesterday about starting today and it is nearly bedtime and I didn't get any exercise in and I ate frozen pizza for supper and drank a beer. UGH! What kind of a start is that for the August challenge that I thought I needed to do so badly???

I worked today and came home very tired. Also have a headache and Flo is not here yet but has sent her scouts. No excuse, I realize but that is what happened and although I'm not proud of it, I wimped out tonight. Tomorrow I'll have to work really hard and get started. It's the 'pitts' to have one of the rest days right away because that means I'll really have to behave the rest of the week. UGH!!

So, shame on me and I am truely embarassed but not badly enough to exercise tonight with my headache and my crabbiness. Nancy

You are so welcome and I did up until 10:30. Sat down and was watching American Choppers, and I had a chocolate attack. With Aunt Flo here my sweet tooth went wild. Its good that the house is kind of bare but not that bare. I ate 5, yes 5 fudge striped cookies. I know I shouldn't have and now I am angry but considering its the first sweet since last Wednesday I guess its not the end of the world. Tomorrow maybe an extra 15 minutes of walking.
