Good morning-

Dh is back home which makes me happy. He leaves again Friday for another fishing tournament. I'm trying to enjoy him all I can since he will be gone to school from Sep 30-Nov 21 :-(

I'm rested and ready to go. Today will be cardio first and a little later in the day maybe I can talk DH into going to the gym with me since he's on leave. July and August is pretty slow so I have way too much time for myself. I'm already starting to get more phone calls and interest for training so September and October will be the start of busy times again..yeah!

OK...

1. What's your workout today?

2. What are the top 3 positives in your life this week?

3. 15 minute project?

4. Say a prayer for your board buddies today!

1 Corinthians 6

19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Have a wonderful day and....God Bless You!

Good morning Phyllis!Wow, Sept 30-Nov 21 is a long time.Great news about the calls your getting about business.

I feel so up today!!!I know I should mix up my workouts more but I want to see if I can get another run in like yesterday.I have nothing pressing to accomplish today.Have to run one quick errand for DS and other than that I'm home all day.Need to mow and could do house stuff but probably not.Last week with chickens so most of my time is in CL.

Yesterday I had a tough morning with the birds.Everything took twice as long as it should have.Tried to go outside for a run and ended up having to stop and open a feed tank.Couldn't get it open and when flying backwards onto the concrete!!Words were said!!!Any way took a 20 min mental break in the afternoon in my hammock.Helped so much!!That and my workout just improved my mental state so much.

15 min project;errand up town.

Top 3;1)Had a great visit with MIL yesterday.2)Hamock time 3)Friends that understand

Good Morning.

Cardio (treadmill) and upper body and abs are on the agenda for this morning.

15 minute project...I'm going to actually start right now...working on the Dining Room (also known as "the dumping ground").

Dh is out out of town this week.

I'm trying to get us ready for the beach next week and work all day at the office.

Hugs.

Sassy.

I need to edge and use the blower if the afternoon rains will hold off long enough. There was a doozie of an electrical storm while we were in Orlando yesterday late afternoon. Delayed us being able to leave, so we were "forced" to stay in the mall longer!!! Got home at 9:20 PM.

My 15+ minutes thing today is to make 10 calls to people for the volunteer reunion luncheon I'm organizing for August 14th. I've already contacted the people I have email addresses for. Life would be so much easier if everyone had email!!

Three positive things:

1. Had quality time with Mom on our little trip yesterday to see her friend and to shop.

2. Cleaned out a junk drawer first thing this morning (Surprised myself).

3. Have been good about body brushing and have started back into an exercise program.

Today's *emotional* workout will be Rob's orientation for high school -- my BABY!!!!

Took a lovely 3 mile walk last night down a country lane. Just thinking about my friend and all the good times we had together. I think a nice walk can really make a difference for me. She's at peace, and now so am I.

Probably no workout for me today. I get to go to the dentist and maybe get a root canal done. Maybe not though. I have a filling that another dentist did a few years ago and she botched it up and now it is all decayed again. Dirty...rotten... Anyway, I'm as fond of dentists as I am...oh...say...childbirth. I don't wanna go. Struggling with this ought to be enough workout for me.

3 positives: I may have to get back to you on this one. I can't think of a darned thing right now.

15 minutes: I think I'll reserve my 15 minutes today for whining about my dental work.

Have a goo day.

Already said my workout.

Top 3 positive post

1. DH is home and I get to make the most of the 3 days he will be home before he is off again.

2. Had a good eating week. We'll see if the scales think so in the morning

3. Learned a lot in Chapter 17 of Purpose Driven Life yesterday. It was "talkin" to me.

15 minute project

Write a letter to a literary agent for consideration of my children's book.

Dast ist alles!

Good Morning Everyone

Actually got my butt up and out of bed this morning and did some weights. I'm tutoring this evening so I knew there would be no time for an evening walk.

Top Three:

1. Didn't procrasinate and got my refinance paperwork signed sealed and in the mail.

2. Feeling really good about eating well and having to have the willpower to stay away from the "junk" in the office.

3. Feeling motivated to get exercise back into my routine.

15 minute project-finish putting my laundry away and finding all my socks that have mysteriously disappeared-could there be a guilty family member with no clean socks who is now wearing mine?

Have a good day everyone!

Workout - RUNNING AGAIN! I did a shortened and not-so-strenuous run this morning, probably between 2.0 and 2.5 miles, with a few minutes of walking in between. It was *great* to start running and not have my ankles, achilles tendons and calves feel the pounding from the get-go. I'm keeping my internal sensors tuned in to my lower right leg, front, because I do feel some tightness. It's already settled down in the last two hours, so I'm hoping it's just "surprised" at the resumed activity. Hopefully it'll eventually go away, like my hamstring twinge finally did. Still want to do abs and leg lifts today. I gained a few pounds at MIL's... not surprisingly, as we always eat well there!

Top 3 - That I'm running again! That I'm blessed with such a wonderful MIL. That football season is starting up again, whoopee!

Projects? Gosh, my day is going to be too packed to squeeze in a project. DD has story time at 10:30; got to mail a package to an eBay buyer; then to my haircut at Noon; after that, eye appointment at 1:30 so I can restock on contact lenses (annual appt); tonight at 7pm, there's a public education lecture on leg injuries at our local hospital, which I'd like to attend. Somewhere in there, I want to play with my kid!

1. What's your workout today? I believe a Walk Away the Pounds Video upstairs in my bedroom with the AC on!

2. What are the top 3 positives in your life this week? (1)Blessed that both Bill and I have our parents around and healthy. Both sets live close by and we see them all the time. Maybe more then we should but its important. (2)Realizing how well my daughter Katie is doing and I do not just mean in her health. Although that is highly important. But she is busy with friends, happy, she is strong, doing well in racing. She can have this effect on people that just makes them smile. (3)My sisters. I have 2 younger then myself. They are my best friends and they mean the world to me. I know I can always count on them.

3. 15 minute project? Everything is longer then 15 minutes. Just "must do" chores for today...run to the butcher for a london broil, clean up the house, some laundry, and get some laundry done. (I have company coming for dinner tonight, and I had made plans weeks ago to see a girl friend for the afternoon. Plan on doing both, so its a busy day here.)

4. Say a prayer for your board buddies today! I think of everyone here each day and I thank the Lord to giving this place to get my support and motivation. You all are in my prayers.

I am so hungry this morning!!! I would love to go out to breakfast and eat buttery sourdough toast, crispy hash browns, a crispy bacon and cheddar cheese omellette--and lots of coffee. I will, however, have something both sensible and healthy. Protein shake is about all that's in the house at the moment (SOMEONE forgot to go shopping).

Organized purses already this morning, made my choice for reunion night :o). An "opera" bag by a local artist, it's really pretty. Ok--one thing is now packed! Have been talking with both sisters and friends I'm going to see at our private reunion party-am getting excited. Can't wait to see McKenna, too.

8am I have my personal training session--weight training. Quick run to the store after that, then I have one hour of Jazzercise, after that I'm going to the hair gal and have my roots touched up, perhaps a little trip---then I'm going to the jewelry store, dry cleaners, and other grocery store. I'll come home and cook--then head out to one hour of body sculpting tonight.

May try to pack and do some ironing too.

Good morning, Phyllis and the Crew-

Everyone seems so full of energy this morning and that is so great to see. Get a jump start to the day and we are off...Bam!

The answers to your wonderful questions are:

1. Ran on the treadmill this morning for 40 minutes, then did Yoga and ab work.

2. 3 Positives for this week are: found out yesterday that my fitness column appears not just in my hometown paper but 13 surrounding papers...time to re-talk my little contract. My son is fine, little over a week ago we had a small scare after swimming lessons, he darted out between two parked cars and was hit by a slow moving car. Thank God, the driver was driving slow. Pretty scary!! He ended up with a small bruise on his hip (my son turned 7 in June) The last positive, getting ready for school which starts Aug. 25 and really looking forward to the year. I know the kids now and they know me!

3. 15 minutes project, cleaning out my little junk drawer.

4. God Bless everyone on this fantastic board.

Hugs from the Midwest...Michele
