Good morning-

Dh is back home which makes me happy. He leaves again Friday for another fishing tournament. I'm trying to enjoy him all I can since he will be gone to school from Sep 30-Nov 21 :-(

I'm rested and ready to go. Today will be cardio first and a little later in the day maybe I can talk DH into going to the gym with me since he's on leave. July and August is pretty slow so I have way too much time for myself. I'm already starting to get more phone calls and interest for training so September and October will be the start of busy times again..yeah!

OK...

1. What's your workout today?

2. What are the top 3 positives in your life this week?

3. 15 minute project?

4. Say a prayer for your board buddies today!

1 Corinthians 6

19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Have a wonderful day and....God Bless You!

Workout - I did Lowerbody workout today. I did a really intense workout - especially considering the heat (95F). Used my new barbell for my squats, and added step-ups to my workout. And did lots of good ab work along with it.

Afterward, my legs were shaking...

I felt *so* good though - that feeling you get after a great workout. And this evening when it cools down, I'm hoping to get out on the bike with Alex.

My 15 minute project - um, I really really oughta put away laundry. (I *hate* putting away laundry, for some reason. I don't mind *doing* laundry, folding, or even ironing. But I *hate* putting it away...Mostly, I think, finding space...)

So far I've eaten really well today. Hmmm - I think I'm gonna go have some yogurt or a hb egg or something... I want protein.

I am so happy to hear that you're handling your friend's passing so well. Please take time to grieve. Feel free to tell us about her - telling stories, sharing fond memories is a way of easing your grieving. Obviously she was a very special person to have a wonderful friend like you.

Take care of yourself - physically and dentally :-) as well as emotionally. Those long walks can be just the ticket...

Good morning. It's a better morning today than last night was. Headache is gone. (I medicated myself this morning, though). I do not like pain!

My workout today will be a walk outside very soon. It is cloudy and hazy here today. Damp outside. I want to walk before it gets hot. I'm also going to try for weights tonight. That will help 'make up' for my lax day yesterday.

Top three positive posts:

1. DH...he is a caring, wonderful man! How did I get so lucky?

2. A good wheat harvest! Thank you Lord for the grain we are getting.

3. We got .19 inch of rain Sunday night. Not a lot, but I'm very thankful for that and for the damp weather we're having right now. That is helping our corn and soybeans last a little bit longer. We're praying for more rain.

A 15 minute project??? I think I'll start in the bathroom cleaning out the cupboard under the sinks. One drawer today. It is really a disgusting mess!

As far as praying for you gals...I do that daily. And I thank God for you daily, too. Isn't it strange how you can feel like you know people so well and you've never met?

Oh yes! I'm occasionally homesick and lonely here in Italy. And being able to talk to ya'll here on the boards is *so* helpful - I feel very much among friends here. I am glad I'm able to be back in connection with everyone here - it makes a big difference in my life.

1. What's your workout today? I've already been to Curves today and will try to get in a walk with DH after work if the weather holds out.

2. What are the top 3 positives in your life this week? As always, Joe (DH), Amanda (DD 17) and Joey (DS 14) As an added bonus, Joe has convinced Joey and Amanda to start cleaning their rooms this week. They're doing a little each day (Yes, they were THAT messy!)

3. 15 minute project? Believe it or not, I have to pick up Amanda's favorite belly ring from the jewelers. I gave it to her for Christmas, and it broke. I was a good Mom and had it repaired for her.

4. Say a prayer for your board buddies today! Absolutely!

My workout today, 1/2 hour of cardio, UB and abs.

My top three positives...

1. I finally got my act together and photographed some stuff that I want to sell on eBay.

2. We spent some really good quality family time this weekend.

3. I finished the felted bags I was making last week and they turned out absolutely beautiful. It's the first time I had felted anything and I'm just so excited to do some more!!!

My 15 minute project today...Tame my unruly eyebrows and give myself a pedicure.

Saying a prayer for all my friends on FOF! I love you guys!

Good afternoon!

Just catching up with the posts from yesterday and today so far. Busy, busy! Workout will be better cardio than yesterday - 45 minutes of hard interval work. 15-minute task -like I always say, something will turn up; probably scanning the maggies to see if there's anything worth keeping, then tossing the not-so-interesting ones.

Top 3 Positives - Nothing specific jumps out. The biggest positives are that I'm still here, feeling healthy, and finally feeling appreciated at work. I always feel appreciated at home ;-)

Getting a new mattress and box spring tonight. Just need to decide on the size. Tomorrow we'll order the new bed, the one with the ultrasuede headboard in a soft taupe color. Depending on his spending mood, DH may want to order the new bedroom furniture (I'm ready and eager!), but we're definitely holding off on the computer armoire - it's gorgeous and a pretty good sale, but still a bit much for now.

Prayers and positive thoughts to all of you, my friends! Hope everyone who's healthy stays that way, everyone who's ailin' feels better soon, and everyone who's sad finds a little sunshine somewhere today!

Michele - Thank goodness it was a slow-moving car your son encountered! There's a truly tragic situation in the news up here concerning a hit-and-run accident that has terribly damaged a young man physically and his family emotionally. God was watching out for your boy, that's for certain!
