Yes---they don't "divorce" in Eric's family--no kidding, I can't name one divorce. I can, however, name a lot of aunts/uncles and cousins that never ever got married! Enter Deb...perky and 32, married 12 years previously and separated when I met his family---to the picture.
My mom was ****mad*** that I was converting, his family was super happy, even more so that we were having a "real" wedding. We eloped the first time because it was such a dam* hassle trying to please everyone. AND I still felt super guilty about leaving hubby #1. Hubby #1 is a great guy and felt no guilt having a big fancy wedding to wife #2 LOL!
Anyway---as I struggle with hoping to fit well into my dress this weekend, Eric wants to go out to dinner to celebrate. I figured with three hours of fitness today that's ok. I won't piggy wiggy out. OR, I'll simply pick up sushi to celebrate.
So...we were married in the church August 5, 1995, and we eloped at home without anyone but best friends around us January 1, 1994.
So---did you have a big wedding????? When were you married? CURIOUS poll from

When I left my ex (either leave him, become an alcholic or kill myself, tough choice, I know), I moved in with a friend of his. Strictly for convenience and because I did not want to move in with my parents. Well, I wound up marrying this friend of his about 2 1/2 years later. I swear there was nothing between us in the start, but it sure ended up that way. Funny that we were friends for all those years before we realized we loved each other.
Now, if I could just convince my ex of that fact...
So, I'm just as scandalous as you are...maybe more!
;-)
